Hmm between the Handyman in the middle of this, some of the disembodied limb monsters from (I think?) the mansion basement session of Rotgoons, and the whole "mysterious sapient being trapped inside a jewel" thing, I'm kinda getting an inkling that Zoran and/or Salty _really_ enjoyed the Cluster arc of Steven Universe. Maybe Lapis' whole early season schtick too. edit: somehow only _after_ writing that do I realise which font Salty is using for her broken camera text... 9_9 that and how Heart could be some kind of Garnet or Stevonnie cosplay in that outfit. Also the ADHD means I've totally lost track of where we were.

Hey, I'm new here, so I'd appreciate it if someone kind-hearted could point me in the right direction. I stumbled upon this channel by chance, checked out snippets of some materials, and I'd like to stick around. From what I see, there are three main series from Pathfinder 2e: Rootgoons, Rotgrind, and AV. Could someone recommend where to start? Or even better, could they give me a brief preview of what Rootgoons and Rotgrind are about? I already know AV ;)

In case anyone else needs some confirmation, I started out with Rotgrind on someone else's recommendation without really knowing so much about ND other than the shorts they linked me to, and it was fiiiiiiine (then progressed to this having caught up). Like how it was when I ran across CritRole years ago, these two are set in their own particular universe and the only thing really tying it to the Pathfinder (or DnD 5e for CR) lore is the game system. I also caught the session zero/learn-to-play of Abomination Vaults using the unmodified form of the starter box (vs Goons using a Tyne flavoured tweak, introducing the Elmas) and that might be something that benefits a little from having more grounding in the established PF universe, but it's not really like I was lost when following along with that either, as it was all introduced and explained quite well. Saving that for later. As well as Warhams and the Starfinder campaign, as I'm not really as familiar with those systems or settings... but then I did start The Other Show with campaign 2 anyway. A good GM and set of players will make the show engaging and weave a great story out of the substrate regardless of what it is. (And at some point, onto Dimension 20 etc...)
