The funniest I can think of is the versions of the Joker who has a fake looking gun that on first trigger pull sticks out a flag that says “Bang!”, but on second pull it actually shoots the flag and the sharp metal spike it’s attached to at lethal speeds.

At this point, Im convinced that this is a different type of sponsorship from the Rotgrind Campaign For Rotgrind, they died at the end of Ep 1, brought back at Ep 2 without being Rotten. All their deaths after that, they got rotten For Rotgoons, any time they die, they get Rotten. I assumed Tellem was different as he was already brought back as a ghost. This episode changed that, because ALL of them are Rotten after dying. Duhakis said the Sponsorship for Rotgrind, "The first one's free," meaning thats when they form the contract for sponsorship. The Goons did not get a free one, unless we're missing some info, because as far as we know, the Goons were chosen at the end of their Ep 3

I had my doubts after Tellem's first resuresction, but I thought because he was a Ghost, the rules may be different. The main source of info about sponsorship is Duhakis, but I know other beings can bring them back, I just assumed they operated the same way. Whoever or Whatever is leading them on wants the Goons to be the vessel of "Its" Destruction
