Toronto is a big city, third largest metropolitan area in North America worth visiting. Check out Yonge Street that divides the city in half from south to north running through the downtown core and Dundas Square. Check out this video on Yonge Street that shows how vibrant the city is Driving on Yonge Street from Downtown Toronto to North York at Steeles Avenue Canada

Long drive from Port Huron/Sarnia or Detroit/Windsor border crossings to TO, also pretty boring that 401 up until you get the outskirts of TO that's why I always use Peace Bridge (Fort Erie/Buffalo) border crossing to get into USA. Summer '07 last time when I drove thru MI from Sarnia/Port Huron on way to UT and '01 to Chicago. Full of B&W OPPs btwn MI and TO but almost nonexistent around TO unless you get another crash creating chaos for everybody. Drive safely. Chris

Those animal and trash issues you are talking about are MUNICIPAL issues, it's up to the City Council of ANY city to manage their activities in the way it's best for its own residents. Bad roads? Full of bad roads in Toronto. Also, your view of a bad road may not match MY view of a bad road, what's bad for you might be normal for me, right? Healthcare in TX? You mean ObamaCare? Also tons of deadly industrial accidents AND explosions in Toronto and Ontario. 13% ONT sales tax, gas: US$5.38/gallon.
@ChrisRoadWarrior
@ChrisRoadWarrior 11 жыл бұрын
Can you please list some of the city services you would lose while getting your taxes lower? For ppl who drive all the time and do not rely on public transportation at all, ok? Personally I'm part of that demographics who doesn't need any GOVERNMENT-guaranteed health coverage especially when it's based on HIGH taxes of any kind in order to keep universal healthcare up and running. Can you also name the environmental and safety issues in right-to-work no-state-income State of Texas? Thank You.

Well, it depends what you're looking for in your future life. Visiting is nice and relaxing but to start living permanently in a new place is a totally different ball game. Downtown Toronto looks pretty impressive BUT there are other things you gotta consider as well, for instance high taxes (13% ONT sales tax, 5% in AB) and high gas prices (lowest in AB as well) to pay for our own "ObamaCare" LOL, w/o very high taxes our socialized healthcare system would go busted right away. Try Houston, TX.

True, he's very overweight and he already knows that, also over here there is no medical test required by law before you start running for the mayorship, like the one in the States with Presidential Elections. Cause you used to live in Toronto and now in NYC, Rob Ford is the opposite of Obama and Andrew Cuomo, policies of course, also he's the very first (socially and fiscally) conservative mayor in the modern history of Toronto, for left-wing media that was a shock when he won 3 years ago.

You're correct that already a year since my last Toronto video BUT: 1) Nothing has changed in Toronto since last year therefore the new video would look identical with the last one, maybe a different soundtrack of course, plus I think it's pretty boring to do videos mostly from one place only 2) Right now I'm focusing on places I have no videos on my channel yet Hopefully you're gonna like my next 10-20 videos, all from new places only. Enjoy the summer. Chris

There is a link on the video info that apparently contradicts your statement, as per Statistics Canada legal immigrants from around the world do not think Toronto is a bad city at all, otherwise why settling in Toronto in such huge numbers? Canadian Citizens with non-white background massively voted for Rob Ford in 2010, by bad image you mean THEM, NON-WHITES, are bad for the city as well? Whites (downtown) are anti-Rob Ford, non-whites (boroughs) pro-Rob Ford. IMMIGRANTS LOVE ROB FORD.
@ChrisRoadWarrior
@ChrisRoadWarrior 11 жыл бұрын
Why Canada and not, let's say, France, so you can easily go back to Morocco and visit your family any time you want w/o burning 1/2 of your monthly salary on air fare? Also since at least 7 years ago, immigration law has change dramatically, not easy to come to Canada legally anymore. Good language skills, very good education, a pre-approved job offer, pass a very strict written test, settlement funds, that's how you get a LEGAL immigrant entry into Canada. Best of Luck. Chris

Thank you, Cecilia. I'd love to give you the songs played on the video, unfortunately I don't know them either, at home (as in car as well) I have a legit SiriusXM sat radio subscription and I simply let my computer record live shows and then I just select a portion of the recording I like the most and mix it up with the video itself. I do not listen to SiriusXM when my computer records the shows. Be safe and happy out there. Chris

Still remember that large boulevard with lots of world flags also that famous historic building where Rocky Balboa included in his movies. Plus the historic district where the founding fathers signed the Decl of Ind, or Constitution...

As much as most of the local residents hate to admit it (but that's a story for another time) but TO is undoubtedly a very American city, at least by its very impressive D/T skyline, and God knows how this city is gonna look like in a year when more high-rise buildings and skyscrapers will be fully open for occupancy. Stay safe. Chris

Man, this video shows me so much emotion, I'm 14 and me and my friend Dylan have already started saving up for our big trip, I start working in a few months and that will help me a lot, were planning on going when we are 18 and im going to aim for 10,000$ on Visa. We have already looked at some hotels and have really recommended staying in the "Grand Hotel and Suites". If you didn't know, I am from Kentucky and this trip is exactly 9hrs and 52 minuets for me to reach the hotel and I cannot wait for this big adventure! Hopefully I am going to find me a Nice Canadian Sweetie to bring back with me, Or maybe I might just stay(:

Brian Skafica The best "attraction" Toronto has to offer these days IS... the very low Canadian Dollar, US$1 for C$1.35. On the other hand if you happen to drive prepare for high gas prices anywhere in the Toronto area, maybe $1 more per gallon than in NYS or California. Regardless, Welcome to Toronto and enjoy your stay.

Then that as well is " Too bad for you" when you find yourself in an ER and no way to pay for it. I really dont need to cite any environmental and safety issues about Texas as they are easily found on the internet. If you want a really good example of how lax this state is... Then look up the reason why the Fertilizer plant that exploded in West, Texas was never properly inspected. All of that is just for starters. Want to talk about the average wages and rankings in health and education here?
@album183
@album183 11 жыл бұрын
Will do. Do you enjoy having unleased animals walking around in your neighborhood crapping on your lawn & pee*ing all over your car? Hope you do because many places do not have animal control. Most cities outsource their trash collection. If once a week doesnt work for you, then too bad. If they dont pick it up that one time... again too bad. Do you enjoy driving on bad roads once you leave the main ones? If you dont... again its too bad. If your employer doesnt offer you health insurance...
@album183
@album183 11 жыл бұрын
That too also depends on what you want out of life. If you want low taxes and are willing to give up a ton of city services, no guarantee of health coverage, and a state that really doesnt care about environmental and safety regulations.. then Texas isnt all that bad until you actually need what you are giving up or suffer pain, injury, or death because of the lax regulatory agencies here.

Mexico as part of NA is pretty much an academic thing, what you mostly hear inside liberal and other anti-white groups, mainstream media included, in real life Mexicans don't give a damn on NA, most of them don't even know what NA really is, for them all that matters is SPANISH (or Latino/Hispanic) America and that includes everybody who speaks Spanish and that's the entire area from south of USA up to Chile, Brazil the only exception (they speak Portuguese) and therefore they are included in the Latin American CONTINENT. For them Canada and USA are not part of their Latin America traditions and therefore you will never see them talking nicely about anything going on in Canada and USA. Mexico City, as the most populous city in NA, is pretty much a creation of left-wing liberal academia to show English NA (populated by white European ppl) they are starting to become a minority around the world. White Guilt Liberalism if you wish.

+johnwoa I'm in Texas but almost daily read Toronto Sun and 680 News over the internet just to keep close with the city I lived (still family in Toronto) for 20+ years. And I'm a proud Canadian citizen AND a strong conservative exactly like Rob and Doug. Great memories during those unforgettable Scarborough Ford Fest parties, very rare to see a politician bring so many people together. And why is that? Rob loves people of Toronto, that's why he will always be *The Mayor of the People*, IMHO he was the Best Mayor City of Toronto has ever had. I'll never regret I voted for 2010 Rob and 2014 Doug, a great family and great leaders for Toronto. We all pray Rob is gonna win the fight of his life, and if not, God will find him a place up there in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ford family, with his wife Renata and their two lovely kids. God Bless.
