Since we are starting half way through the school year, it would be great to know how to choose which chapters or topics to choose. I am nervous about what I chose. Thanks!

I have the same question
@christinekirby582111 ай бұрын
So I have been trying to figure out how to get a highschooler to test out. Under the overview it says how many quizzes taken and then tested out. How do they test out???? Also I was told that all assignments don't need to be completed if you feel they know the material how do you parent check the assignments which someone told me to do.

Can you show me how to keep my granddaughters on track with public school year. We are new to homeschooling and are not sure if we’ll continue next fall or go back to public school. And as you can tell, I have never homeschooled my kids before. This is a new adventure for me as well as my granddaughters.
@time4learning2 жыл бұрын
Hi! One way would be to find your state's educational standards and compare those to our lesson plans (for the same grade level). That's a good way to make sure you're covering what you need. To make a schedule of sorts, you can create an activity plan. That will tell you and your student what they need to complete on which day/week, to finish by the end date you determine. You can do this in your parent account, in the Lesson Planning and Reporting section. Our customer support team is always ready to help too! Please don't hesitate to reach out whenever you have questions. www.time4learning.com/contact-us/

Do you have a video on how to set the planner for a 4 day school week? I can't seem to find that in the Help/Tips section. Thank you! :)
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi! While our curriculum calculator can account for 4-day school weeks, the planner does not. However, once you create the plan, you can go in and assign days so you can only assign activities on the days of your school week. Hope that helps! 🙂
@mrs.hatfield145110 ай бұрын
We also do 4 days per week.

How does the vocabulary section work in civics? It says type the word but the first word is civics, but it’s grayed out and if you try to type it in, it’s in red.
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi! The grey is just a guide, so you know which word to type. When you type it, the word should turn green and the arrows under definition and usage should change to orange/red so your student can click those. If your student adds a space after the word, it will turn red so make sure they type the word "civics" with no space before or after.

Awesome video! So the student can re-take the quiz and it will show up and update in the generate a report section?
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Glad the video was helpful, thank you! :) Yes, when a quiz/test is taken more than once, the most recent score should show on the student dashboard, and parents can generate a report using either the average score, the highest score, or the most recent score. If you have additional questions or need help with the reports, please don't hesitate to message us on Facebook! m.me/Time4Learning

What is the difference between the course map and the scope
@The_Real_Rambo3 жыл бұрын
Does it give an overall average? For example, does it allow me to see their average in Math over a week's time? Or does it just list the individual grades for each separate assignment? Also, when creating an action plan, does it allow me to have multiple kids on the same action plan, or do I need to recreate the same action plan for each kid? I have three 4th graders... lol
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi Katt! Thanks for your interest. Each student will have their own account, even if they are all in the same grade, so you will need to create an activity plan for each student. Yes, when you generate custom reports you can see their averages for a specific subject and specific time period. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if we can answer any additional questions or help you get started! www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php

I tried to do the generate report to print out the work my daughter has done on Tuesday of this week and I know she had a few of all 3 reports to generate, this is Thursday and it still told me that she had no reports. My parent side showed that she had done the work. So if she has done the work up to 3 days before hand how can I generate these reports out to print up for my records?

Can you show me how to pull a report that shows what lessons are left to do? I can't seem to find anything like that so we know how many lessons are left and can increase or decrease the number we are doing each day to reach our end date goal? A percent complete for each grade level would be awesome. anything like that?
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi! You can create a detailed planner to follow, if you'd like a more structured schedule. If you don't have a planner, you can generate a report for work complete to date, and pull up the lesson plans for that subject and compare what's been completed to what's left. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need! www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php

How do I mark an assignment as completed, specifically on middle school science and social studies. It wants to take him to the last unfinished assignment and he has to scroll way down to find the next assignment he is suppose to complete.

How would I pass homeschooling to go to public school next year?. Do I just make good grades?
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi! As a homeschooler, the parent is the teacher of record. So your parent/guardian would determine when you're ready to progress to the next grade in homeschooling. If you want to re-enter public school, you'll have to reach out to the school system and find out their requirements. :)

Hello, good morning I'm a new parent who jus signed my kids up for home school and jus wondering is time4 learning easy for kids to learn with and understand how to do the work that's giving to them? Also do they receive a certificate at the end of the yr for passing? Any info is helpful thank u
@time4learning Жыл бұрын
Hi! Welcome to homeschooling and Time4Learning! Many students do work independently, yes! They can log in and complete activities in the order they are presented, at their own pace. Alternatively, parents can also create a detailed activity plan for students to follow if you'd like more structure to your schedule. Since we are a curriculum and not a school, we don't issue certificates, BUT we do provide certificate templates for parents to use! :) Please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team if we can help answer any additional questions! www.time4learning.com/contact-us/

I'm just starting Time4Learning with my 7th grader. Is the offline resource bundle optional? Can they complete the same questions and answers on their computer as well?
@time4learning2 жыл бұрын
Hi! The offline resource worksheets are optional. They are intended to be used as reinforcement to our online activities when needed. The questions on the worksheets may not be the exact questions asked online, but they cover the same concepts/topics/material.
@1blessedmama792 жыл бұрын
@@time4learning Thank you! As I was looking at the offline resources, I kept comparing them to the online work and did think they were supposed to be the same and was confused why they weren't. That answers my question. Thanks!

I sighed up for time4learning but my school needs proof that I’m being homeschooled how do I go about that??
@time4learning2 жыл бұрын
Hi! For those states that require homeschoolers to submit a declaration, or notice, of intent to homeschool, those notices are sent to the state department of education. Usually. You can find your state's homeschooling laws and information here, and that can provide additional insight. :) www.time4learning.com/homeschooling/by-state.html If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team! www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php

How do you reset test for 4th graders?
@time4learning3 жыл бұрын
Hi! You have a couple of options. The quizzes/tests usually reset by the next morning (our system updates overnight). If you need to retake something before the next day, you can log out, clear your browser cache, and log back in. Alternatively, you can either just switch browsers (we recommend both Chrome and Firefox), or enter a different quiz then immediately exit (this will reset the other one). If you need additional help, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team! :) www.time4learning.com/curriculum/contact_us.php
