$500k can only get at jurong, yishun or woodlands. If central, north east area, at least 700k above. The price Dennis got i believe is a entirely original condition, lower floor and not near mrt. Nowadays very rare go get this price. Good luck to your new place.

My personal preference. Do not like Urban decorating classic , WHITE ideas. Lack of expressionist abstract ideas. Good job for the carpentry making for kitchen , high ceiling yard, good quality frames .

Very nice, well designed and extensively renovated home. Just that could be too much built-in at some areas. For eg. the living room seating area could have been a comfy sofa. Personal preference, all good!

Totally agree with you.1.25 million can still buy freehold condo in geylang ,or changi with en bloc potential price of around 2 millions which translate into profit of 700k.It is way better than buying cluttered Hdb flats such as pinnacle in terms of space and investment.

Even for residential purpose, it is also not worth it because if the maisonette is unfortunately be chosen for sers, the compensation will be way below the cost price ,the owner will likely incur a loss.The same goes for those who buy million dollar HDB flat, there is no profit to be made at all, by the time the owners have finished serving the loan ,there is likely to have little money left in the cpf, by the time the prices of these million dollars flat will have eroded considerably.For those who pay 1.25 miillion for pinnacle with 89 remaining lease , they will be in for a rude shock by the time they have finished servicing their loans.Who will pay 1.25 million for pinnacle 3 decades from now when the remaining lease is 59 years.Those who buy pinnacles for 1.25 millions are simply digging their own graves.
