You made a mistake with the first hack - the way that he got that sound was by singing each syllable individually, then piecing them together, not singing the whole phrase seven times then slicing those up.

Another tip for you since you like adding random loops under an already made beat: Sidechain that loop to your kick with a gate, so that the sample only plays when the kick hits. To add another level, you can sidechain another loop to your snare. It's often a good idea to find something that occupies a different frequency spectrum than the first loop. You can fiddle with attack and release to make some awesome effects that often makes the beat sound a little more random/rough/unpolished than if you just straight copy paste the loop there.
