@@SeptemberStranger28 My favorite word from the sponsors bit came from waaaay back in episode 2. The Coca Cola ads begin with “I took a walk on the cool sand dunes.”I actually memorized the original coke and the Taco Bell ads because I loved them so much. In episode 180 (which I recently heard as I was binging to catch up to attend the live show), they have a Coke Zero Cherry Vanilla word from the sponsors that begins with “I took a walk on the cool sand dunes.” I said to myself, “Didn’t they already do that?” So now I know that that intro means a coke flavored bit. :)

I have been struggling for a long time with feeling like I don't belong anywhere, even in places where I shouldn't feel that way. That speech at the end, especially with the callback to Condos, hit really hard as a result. I wish I had some kind of certificate to tell me I belonged somewhere, because unlike Carlos I can't seem to feel it by myself.

Absolutely insane and wonderful how much impact this podcast has had! It can feel like nobody cares anymore but everything from the queer representation from the very first episode to the narrative structure DEFINED the podcast genre! I cannot emphasize enough how much a value and appreciate this podcast. Beautiful. I wasn't here from the start, but I was around when it really blew up around the first anniversary (for me, the summer between high school and college). I felt proud to be unraveling the story with the fans and tuning in every night to listen in and hear the narrative unfold in a unique way. There were narrative podcasts before, but Night Vale changed the game. And in attending the live shows, I got to be part of the story in a sense. Whether you were an early adopter or a newcomer, this episode is a great delivery. Thank you so much Night Vale, for being the one guide and constant in my adult life.

I didn't think I would cry, but wow. I've been listening to this podcast my entire adult life. Nightvale has been with me through moving cross country, getting married, divorced, my first child, my first "real" job. Nightvale has been a backing track to everything; I'm just so glad it's lasted so long. P.S. the woman from Italy is the only episode I won't repeat, too creepy!

I've only found this podcast a few months ago and I've been binging the entire thing for weeks now, whenever I could find the time. Feels kind of right that I caught up just in time for the anniversary. And I just have to say. Holy shit. Just. Wow. This might be one of the greatest pieces of media I know. The world building is incredible, the attention to detail is insane and I love all of these characters so much. Amazing job, I wish you nothing but the best for the coming ten years.

I've only been here a few years. My sister listened to one and I joined her, and then months later remembered it and wanted to try it again. I listened to a few, got distracted. Another few months. More episodes. Sometimes I listened in huge binges. Sometimes I didn't get around to it for months. This show means so much to me. It was such a wild and emotional episode, as this whole thing has been. But at the same time, somehow, it was just some things happening :). No evil corporations, or dogs, or old gods, or Glow Clouds (All Hail), or passengers, or armies, or dessert other worlds, or anything. Yet still it had me screaming, dying, loving it the entire time. It encompassed everything that Night Vale is and has been, and I don't think there could've been a better 10th anniversary episode. This show has gotten me through some really rough times - even one I'm going through right now. It has always been there, even when I left for months at a time. Waiting, and now I'm back to it :').
