I agree. These guys are building what people want, dirt bikes, larger space, NO WOOD! Nice. Accept, I have run an ecoflow system for 3 years now and You can NOT have them outside. They must be in a heated environment or they won’t charge or supply max output. Which is commonly true for any LiPo.

We are a month into a 4 month trip from FL to AK. Our rig is a 15’ tear drop with a F150 as the tow. Our small tear drop has what is termed an RV Queen size bed, wet bath (shower/toilet together) kitchen, microwave, and small two person table with seating. Empty it weighs about 2800 and loaded right around 3000. It has a heat pump for heat and a/c and an on demand hot water heater. Single axle but with sufficient clearance to handle off road challenges but not severe terrain. Right now we are at day four of constant rain and watching this video we asked ourselves, how would we be doing if we were in one of these rigs now? Out door kitchens are nice but not when the weather is bad and the winds too high to extend the awning. Late night bathroom calls are ok when you’re young, but going outside in a rain storm is going to suck. Let’s talk food/eating and where do you sit if you have to get inside to escape the weather? When we started looking in 2019 for a RV and knowing we wanted to do long distance travel and boon dock camping, we asked ourselves what will we do on a non travel day in a heavy rain storm? In the end, answering that question, knowing we wanted a shower/bathroom and def a/c and had a limited budget, pointed us to a nice company in Sugar Creek Ohio. Almost 30k miles on the rig now and it’s working like it just came out of the factory.

They should have named this the "mid-life crisis" expo. Almost zero pricing for the average joe. No one wants to say, but you all know it.
@SleepyPaul7 ай бұрын
Poor 20 something’s are not the “average joe”, median age in the US is ~38 and the average single income is 60k. Most of these teardrops are between 15-30k, that is totally accessible to a normal income.
@Markdoubts6 ай бұрын
@@SleepyPaul I live in the mid west and it would very difficult to own a single family home, suv and 30k toy. A friend of mine just bought a teardrop trailer the quality is outstanding but, no solar, water tanks, heating or cooling, awning or stove for over 20k. I call that expensive. IMHO.

Great video, thanks. Some of the trailers are pretty small, I guess if ya want to go wheeling with a trailer, but if I'm going to be spending a small fortune on a trailer, I want to be able to stand up inside, maybe take a shower or something. I bet some of those trailers cost more than my truck, $40K.

Too bad the Rog 12rkss doesn’t offer lore of a base galley with no stove, sink or mini fridge. Not sure why any manufacturers use mini fridges and not the chest style fridge. I’d buy one without all that in the galley.

@@Steve-yo4ld it’s called bad coverage. The reason they left the prices out of all these videos is because the ridiculous pricing on 85% of the trailers.

Cup holders, really? $76,500 gives you everything you need. Any more is fluff not suited to the Grenadier purpose. Frame bomb proof! Cordan front axles! Full floating rear axles! High pinion diff’s! Axles closer to Dana 60 dimensions! Dual batteries from factory! Transfer case not electronic!…….If you’re interested in a real review watch Dirtbox Overland and Ronny Dahl’s Four Wheeling Australia.

These tiny trailers are funny AF....all these luxury Benny boy features in such a tiny nearly useless sized accessory. Any chap with some welding and design skills can build these things for themselves....these guys are not unique in either fabrication skills or design skills...😂

Someone would make a killing if they could make a capable trailer for under 10k. These are all overpriced and not for the average person.
