I have one recommendation that you should strongly consider for your upcoming stay. Ask the hotel to assign the room on the top floor in the B wing if possible. Thank you! The Mall Road in central Shimla is beautiful. Many places to shop and eat. Another touristy point is Kufri. I did not like the place very much though. It’s full of tourists and the place seemed to be very unorganised and unclean. Highly recommend visiting Mall Road however.

Hello, We booked the basic deluxe room and were assigned a room on the top floor. Yes, we were able to see the valley. In fact, all the rooms at WelcomHotel Shimla provide valley views.

Yes, travelling with babies would be totally safe I think. There are high-enough walls around the property so it should not be a problem. The path to the property is a little bit steep but nothing to be afraid of.
