my favorite fall thing - the cold, blustery late October day that turns into a still pink evening where the last of the leaves and flowers just seem to have an inner glow. You can feel and smell the first freeze in the air. Even though it is a killing night it is a magical night.

I feel privileged to watch this and hear you quoting our friends in The Cozy Cottage Club. I remembered reading them, but I didn't share one of my own. That's difficult as so many were already shared. However, I love the autumn for all those reasons, but also because I've always get a thrilling sense of history ! I remember realizing that around the age of twelve. My friend and I took a walk down the road she lived on. At the end of that road was an old graveyard. I looked at those old worn gravestones and was struck by how I felt that I was touching history. By that age I already knew that my favorite books were historical. Sometimes my desire to go back in time was intense, but I came to understand that God put me here in this time for a purpose. 🍁🍂🌾I will always love the Autumn🍁 and history. 🕰📜📚 ~ Heather ~

Good morning, MY friends. Here in Connecticut another raining day. Fall craft fairs have really started. I feel Fall in the air but,not the true smell yet. Then,I'll know it's truly Fall. After our horrible summer here it is finally out of triple digets but this morning as I checked the weather for the week there popped up 3 days of triple digits. Oh well at least the nights are cool! amazing pumpkin art!! You own my favorite Son de Flor dress!! I love it. One day I hope to be able to afford and buy it. Your little teapots are sooo sweet. That little bee. Aww. So far, autumn is very rainy here. We have had rain for three days in a row. It does have a sense of magic to it though, but it is also sad, since so many things die. :(

Where are the Son De Flor clothes made? You always look so pretty in their dresses. I love fall leaves and taking a walk in nature. Jonas' carved pumpkin is another remarkable one. He never seizes to amaze me. Tibby is so cute. I call all my chipmunks Chippy because I can't tell them apart. They like to eat the carrots I leave out for the rabbits.
