I am so thankful that someone that I watch consistently FINALLY addressed our current climate in this country. We travel full time so, you kinda feel like one of my only "friends" so-to-speak. Lol. I have found myself wondering what anyone else with our lifestyle thinks or has to say about the situation we're in and the possible threats that come with this upcoming election. We are NOT political in any way anymore because none of them hold true to Godly values and morals. But, unfortunately, we're still seeing the effects of those who are buying into the chaos being put into play.

Absolutely! I try to be very intentional about what I share and pray into it. If the spirit leads, I’m willing to say what needs said. I agree! Sticking our heads in the sand and ignoring what is happening all around us is NOT best for our families and homes. There are many other godly content creators discussing what is going on and how we can best prepare ourselves and our families for what is coming! Christ is in Control. If I may offer a suggestion on how to navigate the politics this season....Pastor Hamrick in Va from Cornerstone Chapel gave a great Election Day sermon about 2 weeks ago. He teaches how to see politics and policies through the lens of God's Word. It was very benefiical. Blessings.

I am feeling the same some days. My dearest friends are mostly in other areas of the country now. As we age and are often widowed it is so important to recall that God is our refuge, strength and salvation. Thank you for this comment. Any small steps we take to prepare, to be more self sufficient, will set us ahead of the majority and most importantly, will enable us to help care for those around us! 🥰 Don't be overwhelmed, just keep slowly building your supplies and learning skills. Learning to live like our grandparents is the way to go. ♥️ And push in close to the Lord, read his Word and fill your home with the sounds of worship and praise!

My Dad would take dried grasses and cut flowers, especially Hydrangeas and hang them upside down until completely dry. Once dry he would cover them in hairspray. The hairspray will help them to stand up tall and keep their petals without being shiny.
