Welcoming MORE primates into the Rainforest Lookout

It has been a busy few weeks at the Zoo with animals arriving for our new Rainforest Lookout building. Our latest arrivals include Filo & Belle, our white-faced Saki monkeys who arrived earlier this week and have been settling into life in Northumberland.

Another great addition! I cant wait to see them all interacting together, it will be almost like being in the amazon rainforest seeing them live side by side with each other! I think the tape on the windows is a great idea too until they get use to it!

We were there today, saw these guys, although don't think they liked me. They came rushing through the trees to shake some branches at me! The agoutis were nice and relaxed though!

Aw amazing! I so wanted to catch that behaviour on video. It’s just Filo showing how big and scary he is - all bark and no bite 🤷🏻‍♀️🥰
