So excited to show you our new baby Margot! She is a Zuchon/Schicon if you want to have a little look at what they are like. Really good family dogs. And even though they are smaller she is supposed to be a good guard dog. In all honesty my heart broke when Lucy passed away. I didn't realise how lonely the house would feel without her pottering around. Whilst I still miss her it's amazing to have some company during the day. She is keeping us very busy! Back with Christmas in a few days. Lots of love xxx

Love the name Margot! We wanted it for our daughter but my MIL completely put me off it and though I love the name we chose in the end, I still regret not having my own Margot! ❤️ Enjoy xxx

Aww Margot is just beautiful. I understand the silence when we lose our darling pets. One of my dogs was called Lucy, and I just adored her. She passed very suddenly on the Monday and by the Saturday my daughter had bought me another collie pup. I was still so upset at losing Lucy that at first I was upset that she brought another pup into the house, but I soon fell in love with the new puppy. You children's reactions were just lovely to see. Looking forward to seeing much more of Margot .xx

I'm so excited for you! I lost my cat a little before you lost Lucy and now you've got Margo and I'm adopting Fig tomorrow! She's a lovely little cyclops cat who loves exploring and snuggles and I'm glad my Mom will have have a new companion. Give Margo all the love and have fun with the puppy year!

I cried when the kids met Margot! I remember how happy I was as a kid when we got a new puppy after our dog had passed away, it was the best medicine to make us all feel better. What better way to honour Lucy than to share your family's love with another lucky pooch 💕

I can actually feel your love and happiness no dog would ever replace Lucy but this is a new adventure. I lost my spaniel I was heartbroken thought never again I now have a 5 month old puppy and wow what a crazy mad whirlwind few months it's been but I felt exactly how I know you are feeling I watched this with tears in my eyes ! Margot is gorgeous 😍 !

Hi there, your Margo is so cute. 10 weeks ago we got a pup after my beloved yorkie at 14 yrs died. After not having a pup in over 14 years we thought long and hard about a pup or a rescue dog being a bit more mature. We decided on a pup and he is such a joy but also on the go getting up to no good. I also read 18 to 20 hrs sleep well he hardly slept. He is 4 1/2 months now and l couldn't imagine live without him. He's called Chester and is a cockerpoo.

Saw someone else with a doggie Margo, love the name. She is adorable and yeah a bit of Lucy in her ha ha . Shes a beautiful pup. The kids made me tear up when they cried, was so emotional. We lost our doggie and yeah the house is empty if your used to having one. That was 4 yrs ago and we now have another Jack Russell. x

Margot is gorgeous! I think a lot of people can relate to the loneliness of when a pet dies. I got a new puppy after my old faithful died last year and I find it funny thinking of what he would think of her, and it makes me smile. P.S. if you want a puppy class to go to, I cannot recommend Warley and District Dog Training highly enough.

awww she is so sweet. my mum was the same as you... her house just didnt feel right without a dog. she was upset about the loss of her dog but she couldnt settle without one. she still misses her meggy moo but cassie helped her heart to heal a bit i think.... even if she did literally eat the christmas tree chew through 3 sets of lights (thankfully they wernt switched on as she was in bed) and she even chewed all the baubles off the tree. that dog ate through so many phone and internet wires its unreal 😂😂😂 but she is still her best friend and thankfully she has stopped chewing everything in sight now
