Welcoming Purdue’s newest Boilermakers to campus is one of the university’s key events.
Before a student cheers at Ross-Ade, sleds on Slayter or goes to Grand Prix, they start with Boiler Gold Rush: a weeklong orientation program that introduces lifelong friends, settles new residents into rooms, and serves as an introduction to college life in West Lafayette and Indianapolis. Boiler Gold Rush 2024 took place on both campuses from Aug. 13-17.
