So will the 90i mig use and weld aluminum? That’s something I couldn’t find any information on

The 90i MIG is a MIG and flux-cored welder.Typically, a spoon gun is needed to weld aluminum. So you would need a welder that will accommodate a spool gun. Just to make sure, with gas less flux it can weld thicker?

Yes. Flux-cored burns hotter and can weld thicker metal. It also produces more smoke so it's best to weld outdoors. If welding indoors, use a smoke extractor or at the very least, make sure the room is very well ventilated. Always follow the equipment manufacturers safety instructions and use proper ppe.

Can this welder be used with a different regulator such as the one built into an ALbee tank?

JM, it's the small spools. The flux-core spool is 1 pound. The MIG wire is the same size spool but weighs 2 pounds.

What gas is recommended for mild carbon steel? 3/16” and below Thx

The most common gas mix for MIG welding on carbon steel is 75% argon/25% carbon dioxide. Your local gas distributor will have this. It's also referred to as 75% argon/25% CO2, or 75/25 or C25. Hope this helps. And best of luck with your welding project!

Would a 8750 wat generator be able to pull the amps?

The 90i MIG runs runs on a 120 volt, 60 amps, single phase circuit and needs 20 amps of input current. Check the manufacturer's specs but typically a 8750 watt generator should deliver plenty of output amperage to power the 90i MIG.
