You've got a good bunch of lads working for you Baz it just goes to show if you are willing to put in a bit effort good things come of it , but a good team comes from a good leader and you lead by example, and you are willing to pass on your knowledge so they get better at what they do, that's what I would call good boss 💪.

Hi Baz, hope you and the lads are keeping well. Another super chronicle of raw coal-face quality work. I really enjoy the way your videos are filmed and edited. Keep it up. I blame it all on Ollie Snowball. I was watching one of his videos and he gave a mention to a few of his faves, Kurtis, Karen and Homeless (staffie) at Cutting Edge Engineering, and yourself. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. PS. Great to hear Cal's story, and glad to see you listening to his thoughts on his future. 👍✌

Watch the video from over here in the colonies, I can understand about 1 word in 10. But what comes through perfectly is the professional work ethic and quality of work. Also looks like everyone on the team is treated like a partner. I like that you included the everyday things like going to the store for boots and such. My one comment for improvement … post several smaller videos, this one is an hour long and a bit difficult to watch in one stretch.

I can relate to Cal wanting to get out into the field. Working all day everyday looking at the same 4 walls is not my cup of tea. He just needs to increase his porosity and mis-align some cutting edges and he'll be kicked out out of the fabbing area in no time....jk of course. Good for Baz on looking out for Cal and trying to get him out in field more.

Another packed episode young man. It will be about twenty years since I went to Wrennalls yard. On a few occassions I did driver cover for a firm that shifted waste onto farms with a JCB Fastrac and trailer which used to be parked in their yard overnight. I remember seeing a brand new John Deere 7530 one day in the building where the chopper was parked, a very nice bit of kit indeed and alll their gear was really well looked after. I was supposed be off doing a repair this morning but its been postponed so it was grand to sit back with a brew and have an easy start to a day. Cal did a great job on that bucket, just needs a flash of paint on it to give it the new look. Top content as usual young man!

35:30 Hi Baz ,on the Hire of the 225 with the Muncher Attachment would it not be better to simply refuse a Muncher Attachment unless it’s on a 30 Ton Hire? I’m assuming that FOX are hiring both the machine and attachment of course . Nice Upload as always plenty variety as always. 🤜🏼⚡️🤛🏼
@welderfabber10 ай бұрын
They use there own or hire off som1 else I find
@brownwarrior686710 ай бұрын
@@welderfabber Therein lays the issue. Perhaps a waver on the hire agreement on the 25T that a muncher shouldn’t be fitted? Ie responsibility falls straight on them then. I hired a mini last week from Smith’s that came with an Oger Attachment but straight away it was evident that the machine was too small due to the weight and torque but we managed and luckily didn’t bend or break anything. I told them a 3t machine should be the minimum for that attachment.

A few years ago we had a 7 ton 360 nicked. They backed a stolen Hovis bread wagon up to a low wall, and tracked it straight in, with the arm sticking out the back. It was caught on CCTV, at 2-30am, and it was parked in their camp, in full view of the road, not far away, but the Police wouldn't go in, they just told us to claim the insurance.
