As are most things in life, if you desire something or feel its worth it you save. I still can't swallow the pill for a new vehicle or these $2k phones everyone keeps buying. Certain things make more sense to others.

@@TKCL Portable solar generators aren't so popular in Australia, which is ridiculous given SUNSHINE is so strong everywhere here. I have a Delta Pro ordered for pick up this week here in Queensland- so keen. However, I've ordered a 300W solar blanket from the company that is sourcing the unit for me, so hoping it has a comparable performance Total cost AUD $7425 - so kind of puts your costs into perspective (?) Q: Does the Eco Flow 400w blanket have more going for it than other brands? If so, I may order one of them instead (which is twice the price of the 300W). Thanks for your video - gives me confidence I made the right choice.

I honestly can't say they are worth twice the price. They are nice, but not worth the increase in cost. I'd rather have twice the power output. Now the Delta pro is one excellent product.

Holy moly 😮😮.... No way did that thing power up the plasma or welder.... Dang that pack a bunch right there. Just make sure you charge it up and put it back in my deer stand room so I can power up my CPAP machine, and the diesel heater and the AC window unit.... So I can get the temperature just right 👍🏽 not too cold and not too hot lol 😆

Make sure to leave off X-Boost. It drops voltage in order to boost amps. Not something you want to do often, especially with electronics😊

Awesome review, very impressive. I may have missed you covering this but any idea of expected life span of the internal batteries? Can the internal batteries be replaced? My experience with all battery related devices is they work great when new, but eventually they get old, weaken, then stop working. Referring to things like golf carts, etc. Thanks for all the info you pump out.

They claim something like 6500 cycles. Usually it's thousands of recharge cycles and 10 years before you see some degradation, most still guarantee 80 percent capacity at that point. You could literally recharge these every single day for 10+ years. The battery is not replaceable, that would be something I would love to see in future models.

Can you get more power out of your welder if you use the 30 am 120v outlet on the delta pro. I saw you used the 15amp ports but just curious if your welder will see that you can pull more and allow you to weld at a higher amps.

No it was maxed out as far as it can go on 120 volts. To get it to go any higher I'd had to hook it to 240 volts. FYI those are 2400 watt 20 amp outlets.

Thanks for doing this however you didn't show how much power the welder took....which is the reason I watched the video....I will asume it's a little less then the plasma cutter but I am right at the limit of what I can draw and will have to experiment witha new inverter.

I THINK WHAT WE NEED IS TO WELD IN THE FIELD LETS SAY WITH A small 110 arc welder, but keep the power supply connected to a 110 power plug meanwhile I am welding. that way we are using and replacing the currient, is that posible , any conflict with That! THAT WAY ITS GOING TO BE A NON STOP WELDING is there anyting like this outhere

Wondering when Ecoflow, Bluetti, etc. will realize there's a market for single-box battery packs that output *240V*, say up to about 50 amps. Such devices would power the great majority of inverter welders and 50-amp plasma cutters (both of which run much better on 240V) -- maybe even along with the 120V air compressors one needs for portable plasma cutting (high volume, moderate pressure). So far, to my knowledge, only Anker has produced such a pack.

Ecoflow makes 2 units with 240v capabilities, both surpassing Ankers spec by a long shot. The Ankers has horrible solar specs. See these videos for both units, one is extremely powerful. Your not going to find 50 amp service in a single portable units as that requires a large inverter and heavy batteries to support it. Why is there a Walker outside the Shop ??? HAHHAHAHAHAHA. Plug a freezer & Fridge into that and see if it will run it for a week non stop with the Solar. That is a test I've never seen anyone do. Just testing how much Power one can draw. I need longevity run time vs Huge amp draw. I'm usually Camping for several Days to a Full week vs just a Weekend camp. I'd like to camp with out Ice.. and No gen Set running. I do have one handy if Needed. I'm leaning Towards just some big 8D lipo batteries and a basic inverter/Charger & 400 Watts of Solar. Walker because my wife does physical therapy and helps people from time to time by offering equipment such as that when others can't afford it. I can tell you from personal experience and data that this would run a fridge and freezer all night long without you going in it much. It gets a decent charge from a 400 watt panel during the day but you would most likely need twice that to sustain constant running and full recharge before the end of the day. The larger the solar array, the better chance of out running draw and getting that recharge, plus dealing with clouds, weather ect.

Well with 3.6kwh of capacity you can do some quick math, no reason this won't run them all week, especially with some solar input during the day.

How about air compressor how did you has air in plasma cutter ? 80psi continues on compressor requie 2500w or more .... than 2500w plasma cutter 5000w ? Just guessed... if the peek of the unit is 7000 this will run less than minute before it go to limp mode ... do im wrong you think ? what spec of the compressor I can not belive you can do cut plasma and run air compressor at the same time ?
