Excellent inspirational message by Leg Arms... Glad to see you have acquired fall protection for yourselves and your workers so at the end of the day you all are able to go home to your families and continue to provide for them. As men, most of our weight is above our waists so when we take a fall, it tends to flip us over head-first which is not a good thing. My great grandfather was killed when he fell 12-15 feet off an extension ladder while painting his house. In my mind, it's not worth taking the risk. Now you just have to make sure everyone uses it!

Leg Arms what encouraging words you offer about doing your best and never giving up. As Coach Nick Valvano said at his speech given at the Authur Ashe Man of the Year award given to Coach V, "Never give up, Never Ever give up". This was his last speech he gave before the Big C consumed him and the Lord called him home. Leg Arms you show maturity and wisdom way beyond your years.

Just keep in mind with your fall protection, that whatever you clip onto needs to withstand a force of 5000 pounds. That roughly the amount of force your body generates if you fall 6 feet and come to a abrupt stop. Stay safe and another great video!

Good speech leg arms that's one of the reason why a lot of the trades now are dieing because the older generation are getting older passing away and a lot of the knowledge in the way things were done by hand are not being done. nobody wants to learn nowadays I'm 35 and luckily for me I'm in the construction field of stick Built Homes I didn't have trade school or college I had 4 cranky men that I thank to this day they took me under their wing and taught me the proper way trained me for my future because I was willing to learn and listen and not try to be a know-it-all from my youngest years of being able to work till now two of the guys are still alive and I'm still learning from them today thanks for the inspiration.👍👍👍👍

"Quick detach" meaning it does NOT take a full shop days to take it off, then yes, yes it does.
@johntaternose98765 жыл бұрын
We had an L300 loader for our old Case IH Mx120. It was a quick attach, but it was still a bigger to pull off. That loader was designed for that tractor. In comparison, a magnum like that which is not really designed with a loader in mind. Combine that with the loader being older than an L300 and not being designed for that tractor, it would likely make taking it off, suck.
@mattlapain5 жыл бұрын
@@johntaternose9876 That is fair and does suck. I would suspect it would be a lot of work too as I didn't see any support legs for the loader.
@fowletm19925 жыл бұрын
It was quick attach 20yrs ago But of rust and seized bolts makes it fun Took me 3hrs to quickly remove our quick attach on our 1995 NH tv140 loader And that is a proper quick attach fully self contained unit Fun times Should be faster next time Supose to only be a 15min job
@johntaternose98765 жыл бұрын
@@fowletm1992 Sure it was quick attach, and still is, and it still beats any aftermarket loaders. Man-handling one of those off sometimes requires a chain hoist. Even though it is quick attach, they were never really that easy to deal with in the first place. Also, the TV140 is a "Versatile" bi-directional. Our old 276 loader had to be hung off the rafters in our shed the one or two times we took it off

Love the inspirational speech leg arms. 100% accurate, I am an industrial electrical maintenance technician and fortunately i am in an environment every day to witness the growth and the passing of knowledge. It is a beautiful thing. to see a 50 year old man learn something technical from a 30 year old and then a half hour later watch the same 50 year old man show the new apprentice how to extract a broken bolt or whatever the case may be. But sharing knowledge as well as putting in the effort to excel is absolutely paramount.

Leg Arms, you are an old soul. That is great advice, and your words of wisdom are inspirational and heartfelt. Some things I picked up over the years. 1.) I never understood why some people are afraid to make a mistake, heck that is the best way to learn! 2.) Its really hard to learn from something that works because you can't really tear into it and learn what makes it tick. 3.) If you never give up, you will almost always figure it out and you will know it better than anybody, and for those difficult times when you feel like you aren't making way, it is perfectly okay to step away a spell to figure out a different approach to the problem. That is what lunch time naps are for. 4.) Years ago scientists couldn't understand how bumblebees could fly, said it was impossible. But the bumblebees were too dumb to know any better so they just flew anyway. Same for me. Anytime anybody smarter than me thought I was too dumb to figure something out, I'd surprise them. What I lacked in smarts, I can more than overcome in sheer determination. You can too, just like that bumblebee.
