Funny you saying you weren’t into trains when you met Pauline. I don’t think I would be married now if I was into trains at the time of meeting my wife! Great to see the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Your video are real and natural which makes them great.

What wonderful weather, mind you it is high Summer. Interesting questions and comments in your video, it’s great that you have such interested followers(my self included) and you answers always interesting and supportive. Interesting video, some of the landscapes we've seen on the way where just perfect to stop and take some panorama shots for a back scene for a layout, the Peak District is such a nice aria, love it. What I like about the channel is the fact that it's presented by two amazing down to earth host Rick and Pauline, that I have the chance to met a few times and they are as they are in the video's, friendly, a good sense of humor, people you want to hang out with. As for the video's them selfs, they show you what's there, the lovely second hand bargains, the bargains you can make, the nice retailers, the kindness of the hobby. The variation of home-, heritage lines- and show video's apart from the great characters who makes them, that's what makes these video's different than the rest. So I love my Sundays, where the first thing I do, is to get up, make my cup of tea and enjoy an other new R&P video. As a Belgian British train collector, with relatives and friends in the UK, I'm very attached to the UK, and recently since I retired, an old college train driver of mine, Peter, who also loves train models, we set us a goal to visit different train shows in the UK a few times a year, and make of it a short holiday of things we really enjoy. And each time we do that, there will always be somebody we meet, that I learned to know over the 25 years plus I've been collecting British model trains, it's just a great community where people think alike. And the video' R & P make, makes us dream, oh that's a show we want to go to next time… Peter is more of a continental collector, so we also go to the shows here, but the is not my Mecca of BR models, but you know how it is, you always come home with something😂 My comments are always long, sorry for that, but there is always so much to see, I want go in to…😂 Cheers, Danny

Hi Danny thanks for your kind words, it has been nice to meet you guys as well. This Sunday's video is a vlog as we haven't been to many shows recently but we will be over the next few months. Brilliant video liked the q&a especially the road shots reminded me of living in Derbyshire. Peak Rail looks much improved. Yes Bakewell is day tripper land. We never went there on a weekend. Brilliant video as usual. Thank you.

Hi Caroline, Pauline is more interested in the scenic aspects of the layout and to be honest that's what makes a great layout. The little details give layouts character and we love seeing these at the shows and hearing the stories behind what inspired them. All the best Rick
