Thank you for reviewing the GMADE Buffalo truck! I’m going to Korea next year to visit my family and planning to grab the kit there and bring it back to the state. I’m a Traxxas guy, but trying the brand from my home country will be awesome!

I've been running a GSO2 BOM (pro kit with option parts) for almost a year now (with the cantilever) and I love it. I'm in MI and always getting asked "What is that?". The GSO2 and F platforms are really good trail trucks, that with a little mod, can be a potent class 2 or 2.5 rig. Kudos for the review!

I own the Gmade Komodo Double Cab and BOM. Built both from kits and they are excellent rigs. its worth to mention that the tires are very very good, have excellent grip. Great quality product. Wish I had seen your video before ordering the Buffalo Pick-up from Amain, that way I could have order on your link. Great channel two thumbs up

I am finishing a Buffalo pick-up right now. Noticed in your video that you had put a small spacer on the 2 speed shifter on the tranny. That was a God send for me. Mine was binding a bit, after I added a spacer on the arm (like yours) now it shifts great! Sad to report that I did not get the bonus parts. This is my third Gmade (have the Komodo and BOM) and I love them very capable and well built. The springs are a bit harder than I would like but an easy fix. They perform better (in my experience) than the Axial SCX III JEEP Wrangler and Classic Bronco that I have. Great video and RC source in general

Can someone pleaseeeee bring light to this 2 speed issue! So many users have their gmade Buffalo locked in 1st gear due to the binding happening in 2nd! Can you please post about this?
@lualrosaal Жыл бұрын
@@ethanmoore8157 at around 5:45 time on the video he is talking about the 2speed tranny. You can see a bit of a shinny spacer between the shaft that comes out of the tranny and the arm from the servo. That looked to me like a small spacer. I put a 3mm spacer (from a Tamiya shock absorver kit)there on mine with a longer bolt to compensate. That way the the shaft is straight and does not bind. Works like a charm!! Hope this helps and works for you.

I have a gsf02 blazer. Rtr. I have only had 1 problem. The motor and esc. Swapped out for hh trail master and hw 1080. I feel like there is an issue that can be fixed. My shift servo moving a ton. It wants to bend the plastic below it and sometimes takes a few presses of the button to shift. I love it though. Change the tires to something more grippy until they produce better compound. I know they have improved over the years but not good enough imo.

I just got my kit yesterday. I already ordered stainless link kit and steering links for it along with the led kit for body and bumper. I also ordered the non-overdrive gears for it. No roof rack for me as I plan to make it look like my full size 84 GMC swb I own. Any ideas where to find a rollbar for the bed?

I’ve been wanting a GMade GS02F model for a while now but I keep talking myself out of it due to the fact I like upgrading things and the aftermarket isn’t very extensive for these. You are also limited to them only having one central master distributor which is Hobby Recreation Products. Amain and others get their GMade from HRP
@brianmassey75633 жыл бұрын
I agree that the options can be limiting, but with the F version you get overdrive and 2 speed. Shock towers, servo and panhard, even knuckles and weights are SCX10.ii. You can even get heavy links for it (from gmade even). Not much else needed IMO.

Hey Greg, sweet color! Nice detail on the grille too. I'm torn between this, the Phoenix and Element's V2 Builder's kit... I know they're not quite apples to apples, each bringing a bit of a different taste and focus between trail and crawling... so I'll probably eventually end up with all three. haha! One thing I would have liked to see you compare a bit further in detail is the performance and driving differences with the hardtop (if the lower CoG due to the body and tire diameter is noticeable, and any other remarkable differences you noticed...), as I can't make up my mind either with the military hardtop or this pickup. Any further notes are highly appreciated. Love your in-depth tech reviews!

Hmmm I think I need to go out a do a video with both. I'm going to try to fit that in soon and can give a better assessment between the handling characteristics.
