Here's a fun fact, in each Shrek film, the main antagonist of the movie wears a red outfit at some point. Lord Farquaad's main outfit is red, Fairy Godmother wears a red dress during "Holding Out for a Hero" and the final battle, Prince Charming's outfit is red during the play at the end, and Rumpelstiltskin has a large red wig for when his angry but also his main timeline outfit consists of a long-sleeved red shirt. On a color wheel, red is opposite to green, indicating an opposition to Shrek who, as an ogre, has green skin.

Apparently, Donkey only knew the concept of sex but not that how it was connected in child conception. Probably, his parents kept saying "We'll tell you when you get older" but they never did. The biggest question, though, is, did Dragon give birth to the Dronkies like mammals do or did they came from eggs like Pokémon.

This movie is very good to me for one reason: the way charming drops the facade for a minute and talks about things he has lost and had everything taken away from him. Its such a good wrap up of his character because if you look at charming, he is a man child who has never had to be on his own. After doing everything his mom told him to do, and doing it at least decently well, his mother disappeared forever, leaving him with no loved ones, no money, and no home. He had to go from no worries in the world to worrying about where he will live or how he will live. Its a lot to drop on somebody who isnt ready and its even worse when suddenly everyone hates you for what your mom made you do. So to see and hear him talk about what he has lost, it always gives me chills

Love the little Shrek ears Oak and Answer put on the scores. A lot of hate around the 3rd movie but I personally love it. The ending scene with the villains is a bit meh but love both Shrek’s vulnerable and Fiona’s badass moments. Puss and Donkey switching bodies is so fun to watch and the princesses are definitely the highlight for me. Yeah, this movie's plot is a bit weaker than the first two so I can understand why it felt a little flat, but you guys seemed pretty entertained by all the jokes so I'd still call that a win. I've always thought that the princesses' jail escape and Snow White's woodland creature scene was one of the most fun moments in the series though. It kinda gives off the same vibes as when Fiona beat up Robin Hood and his Merry Men in the first one. The 4th movie is definitely more solid than this one, but Shrek 2 will always be the best one.

The Eagles couldn't take Sam & Frodo to Mount Doom because they couldn't cross the threshold of Mordor while Sauron was still alive, the evil was too powerful. They could fight outside the gates like they did at the end of Return Of The King, but they weren't able to approach Mt Doom until after the Ring was destroyed.

Dreamworks has a problem when it comes to trilogies. Movie one is fantastic. Great world building, great story and characters. Movie two is commonly seen as better than the first, and then movie three...well...it just doesn't hold up. They may not be bad movies, but they’re nearly not as good as 1 or 2. Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and even How to Train Your Dragon are all examples of this.

Then the next thing we know she's the choreographer for the cheerleaders and she introduces them to the controversial song "Baby Got Back" as she shows them the booty shaking dance moves! 😅 The second time I heard that song was in a "Shrek" movie with Lady Dragon in the middle shaking her big butt with the smaller females to either side as Donkey sang the lyrics! I never saw your reaction to that with the first one. 😮 Did you miss it? 🤔 I haven't seen it since it was new in movie theaters. I give it a 5 because I like it more! 🎉 Bye-bye for now! Namaste! 🙏

Their reaction to this movie is one of many reasons why I don't care about what initial reactions (when movies first come out) are. Give movies a couple years and people look at them in different light (not all the time, but more often than not, it seems). And new fans are more accepting to what the films are doing rather than judging it for not doing what earlier films did.

This movie was clearly originally intended as a STRAIGHT TO DVD outing, and then some executive said, "WTF are you doing, Shrek is our money-maker," and they tried to make it theatrical. The animation alone feels like something you would find in a spin-off Netflix series, which gives it away.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but this is my favorite Shrek film. The plot may not be anything special, and it may not be as jam-packed full of jokes as the others. But the jokes that are there hit so much harder for me, that this film's highs make up for its lows, even if it isn't as consistently entertaining from start to finish as the others.

YES! As I was opening KZbin the first thing I thought was I hope you guys dropped this reaction today! I know it's one of the least popular movies in the franchise, but this is actually one of my favorites! There's so many iconic scenes and jokes that live in my head rent-free, I ALWAYS reference the 'DA-DA' in the dream scene 😂 I love Shrek's character arc of accepting being a father in this movie, it really rounds out his character progression throughout the trilogy!

1 and 2 are superb, 4 is great, 3 is okay. I can see what they were going for with 3, but it just didn't land the same way 1 and 2 did. . . [Some talk about Shrek Forever After coming, don't read if you want to go in completely blind] . . 4 is more serious in themes, less ribbing the popular fairytale and fantasy tropes and referencing other popular media, but still funny. And I think a more serious note isn't necessarily a bad thing either, it works well for a last movie in a series like this. Excited to see you react to it!

I still say iM dYiNg all the time 😂😂 I get that this one isn’t as good as the other two and could ce done more especially with the villains but i love how shrek is a continuous story and does go over so many good lessons and phases of life. I still really love this one! Its good what it is imo. The 4th so is also very good! I was surprised how good it was!
