1. The crutch might be very bent and that’s why it’s not in beat 2. I’m sure they were bushings put in at one point and they just wore out overtime. If you can dissemble it properly I don’t see any reason to use the bandaid bushings. 3. I’m sure the count lever is bent or there’s lots of grime on the countwheel post which is causing it to not move.

@@samsclocks2084 the bushings were fine until I reassembled it. Since there was some popping of the gears going into place. Wasn’t forcing the gears or anything I was just putting them into place carefully. It was the final slight push to hold everything in to put the screws into the plates that I heard some pops. So maybe that’s what caused it. Welp if we ever meet in person in the future and I’m still a dumbahh lol maybe u can show me how to properly rebush a clock

I doubt trying to assemble a clock would cause any wear in a pivot hole. It's normal to hear a bit of popping when putting the plates back together. I hope we do meet one day because knowing how to bush properly is a great skill to have.
