I would go for the late 50s/early 60s pendulum /floating escapements too, and the 1930/40s pendulum movements. I fixed them a lot, still running good. Early 70s are cheap, everything from 1990 on is okay but still "meh"

There is a Stamp on the back of the movement [72] The Solar being stamped [78] I which is the date of the movement Hermle did pivoted movements between 1970-1990

I just realised, this is the same solar company that was retailed by eatons department store! (I think). The solar company was eatons own brand of timepieces and they even used Rolex movements in some of their watches! Just some cool info lol

@@Oldclockschannel125 it’s always had a broken spring ever since I got it. the spring itself is thankfully not broken but the pin slipped out at some point before I got it I did disassemble the movement and slipped it back in but it then slipped out again a day later lol. So I’m just gonna leave it
