RYAN! i’m so sorry about the breakup, the theft, everything. I know France pretty well for someone who is not from there. You should DEFINITELY go to the south. When I was living in Lyon and feeling incredibly lonely, I took a weekend trip to Antibes, and had a fantastic time. Nice is 20 mins train from Antibes, Marseilles is on the way…everything is so accessible once you get down there. Take care!

kind of weird to see so many people in the comments talking sh*t about the “flowers 2 days before breaking up” thing. people can be on the fence about a relationship near the end of it, try their best to keep going, and days later arrive at the conclusion that being apart is for the best. it’s not a great situation, but there is a lot of room for nuance. my point is, we don’t know the situation, and I’m sure it’s very hurtful being on the receiving end of a breakup like that, I feel for Ryan, but maybe let’s not call people “psychopaths” in the comments for sending their partner some flowers before figuring out that they need to be apart, or whatever the situation may have been. If you wanna fly cheap use Ryanair or Wizzair from Paris you most likely gonna find flights that cost less then 10-20 euros i recommend you to visit Budapest or even live there a bit its increadbly safe and beatiful city with very friendly locals :)) and pretty cheap compared to western prices also, Italy is a great place too! Milan the fashion city is a great base location from there you can visit the famous Lake Como, or Venice, Bergiamo, and maybe take a quick 2 hr bus ride to Bologna and eat amazing foods :)) i hope you still gonna enjoy Europe despite your bad experiences i wish you all the best ❤
