Jinshi heard at least a little of Maomao talking to herself. Though the first time I saw it, it felt like my protagonist sense is tingling.

So good! I loved Frieren Friday and Mao Mao Saturdays when they were airing. I was so spoiled with top tier anime. Gyokuyou's VA is also Frieren's.

You should definitely continuing watching. Episode three is beautiful, and episode four hits hard. ^_^ Btw, the voice actress for Lady Gokuyou is Atsumi Tanezaki, who voiced Frieren and Anya Forger. Maomao means “cat-cat,” and she is played by Aoi Yuki (Tanya the Evil, Diane from Seven Deadly Sins, Kumoko/Shiro from So I’m a Spider, So What, Clementine from Overlord, Tatsumaki (Terrible Tornado) from One-Punch Man, among many others). I love her voice acting in this show.

Mao it's cat in chinese so She's litelly called : Cat cat, later she gets add Xiao making her xiao- mao that means: little cat.

Finally! Good to be back watching your reactions ❤ You are in for a ride and Season 2 of this will air soon - 2025 The apothecary would be my best show of the season if not for Frieren 😂. Both show has it charm

Apocathery Diaries is one of my top 5 anime released in 2023. Frieren tops that but I would say Apocathery Diaries is a close 2nd.

Considering that the makeup spread also through the brothels as well, it’s most likely just an unfortunate trend of ignorance. Even in 18th century Europe, there was a trend of women wearing makeup which had lead as part of the ingredients, and that, of course, caused lead poisoning.

@@wrexgrafix84 yes, but I think someone found out about it and thought it'd be a great way to eliminate royal children until they could arrainge their own. In other words someone took advantage of the general ignorance to try and influence the Imperial succession
