Corrosive chemicals that have levels of toxicity which are seriously damaging, not to mention the thousands of barrels of powerful acid to enable the seams in the shale formations to release its pay zone of gas, condensate, etc. All combined, and seriously doesn't require very long for this to also break up the concrete sleeve of the production pipe which is pumped down around the outside of it to also deteriorate, hence releasing everything into the different aquarius of fresh water that the drilling has gone through in the initial process. The noise is horrible. XTO took 7 weels to drill and now on 7th day of fracking. You cannot even stand being outside due to loud noise 24/7.

I use to roughneck on the service rig but need to do something different due to an injury. Is this job easier than that would you say?
