Well this was quite an endeavour.
Never expected the response to the short version of this. Went from slow going to exploding into my most viewed video in a week. Maybe this one won't get so lucky, but I certainly tried my best. Regardless, I had a ton of fun doing this, and I hope you all enjoy!
And for all the Sony fans who didn't appreciate the short one, this video is (mostly) made in jest, so stop getting so pressed. I just think "PS5 has no games" is really funny lol.

They enjoyed a very good bout of popularity when new wave had its audience in the late 70s and 80s, and many bring them up as a notable example of new wave. If anything, I consider Devo to be way more underrated compared to Talking Heads and The B-52s. They're more than just "Whip It", you know.

I find it refreshing to see so many people collectively dunking on Sony for their lack of exclusives. People dislike exclusives and so do I BUT consoles feel like expensive doorstops without them. They kinda are the face of console generations. We can return to PS1, PS2 PS3, even PS4 years after the fact and play games that technically only came out on those systems. Emulation side steps that but even still, those console will always hold some degree of value and legacy in the long term.

Allegedly, Firewalk had a budget of 200 mil in their own & investors’ money. They blew it all by early 2023, with Concord barely in alpha. Then Sony bought them & had to spend 200 mil more outsourcing to rush development for an on-time release. This isn’t even counting marketing, which between the commissioned cartoon episode and the themed controllers, was obviously, ridiculously overindulged in. What really needs to be asked is what was Herman Hulst slipped to convince him this would be an OT Star Wars-tier phenomenon.

They should take off all the remasters/ports and multi-platform games from the list cause they don't count as PS5 exclusives. R-Type is a remaster and the original is on PC. Astro Bot is also coming to PC. Spider-Man 2 PC port is already playable on PC due to the hack.
