I don't know why people expect this product to magically even out their whole hair when they don't even have an even base/ bleached hair to begin with.. I mean, I always bleach my hair myself and use this toner once every 1 to 2 months and it does an amazing job and the silver tone holds on for atleast a whole month or two if used with purple shampoo..
@shewolfninja5 жыл бұрын
this is the best at home toner i've ever used, i've tried silver and platinum and both have been amazing and taken all the yellow tinge from my hair. highly recommend :)
@tanyatumbeva72792 жыл бұрын
I use this toner regularly and I'm quite happy with it. I follow the instructions: wash hair with clarifying shampoos, apply toner on towel dry hair, put plastic cap, apply heat for 5 mins with hairdryer then wait for 15-30 min depending on hair condition and/or desired shade. It works great. If your hair is too porous because of bleaching it will soak up all the purple pigments and you'll end up with purple hair.

@louisabright89207 жыл бұрын
The top of your hair did actually have some difference, I think the reason why people with bleached blonde hair struggle to work toner downwards for it to completely blend white is because their hair is often very long and it's very difficult to make the colour match on longer hair, not only is it hair length that affects process it's also timing, when you're putting toner in your hair, you need to work quite fast sliding the gel down your roots to your ends to give the full head of hair a more even processing time so you don't have white roots and yellow ends, that's the key points so many people are ignoring.

@R3nnifer4 жыл бұрын
Kirby Brown the heat from your scalp helps push the development of the bleach. When you apply bleach next time (definitely give your hair a good rest though!!!) once applied, wrap your head in cling wrap, apply a mild heat with a hair dryer for a few mins then stick a beanie on your head while it develops. 1 it stops it all drying out (if it’s dry it stops developing!)
@tovahromanov74144 жыл бұрын
Serenity Harbour any chance you used Overtone at all?
@R3nnifer4 жыл бұрын
Tovah Romanov no but I do use a tray purple shampoo for topping up between toning. If I get the bleach balance and toner (wella t18 is 100% the best so far) it’s all good
@poppymaepriest4 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you’ve applied bleach around your head at the same time / roots first, you need to apply the bleach to the ends and lengths and then go back into the roots about 10-15 mins later, you’ll get an even result :))
@Emjay_____713 жыл бұрын
you are starting off with ashy hair though ? whats important to note at this stage is that wella T18 is supposed to be used with bleach developer

bit late to this video, if any one could give me some advice pls do! I had black and red split hair for about a month and a half them decided i wanted to go back blonde, so i started stripping it, using colour remover countless times, used some blonde intense lighter then my auntie (ex professional hair dresser) said i should go ginger for my holiday so it would give my hair a break from everything amd i would have my hair all the same colour it was fully bright orange, looked like my hair was on fire it faded quite a bit then tried to get rid of that by using colour remover and difftent strippers and blonde intense lighter skip to now i’m using this my hairs fairly light now and my roots at the tops of my head are now fully white but the rest of my hair is blonde but it’s still got bits of ginger and i’ve no idea how to get rid of it, i’ve never used a toner so is that something i should use? keeping in mind i’ve done all this myself at home with occasional help reaching spots at the back of my head etc, never gotten my hair done at a salon i prefer to do it at home yeah it would properly be easier and less hassle getting it done at a professional but i’d rather not just my option!
