I'm not sure why every recipe has to have maple syrup on it. I use honey (hate maple syrup), and obviously, I would use that in place... but there's no reason these can't be shown with a little variety. Also, virtually every freaking casserole doesn't need to be drenched in maple syrup (or honey)!! Especially stratas. They are meant to be savory, not sweet. Yes, I know, I will do me. But these recipes were a little extra with the maple syrup.
