This video is spectacular, raw footage of how everything is done to the highest order!! The tablet that tells you where the engine is on the car is a remarkable piece of kit aswell.

I'm surprised this hasn't had more views, well-edited and put together.

Interesting insight into today's modern fire and rescue service. Well filmed and edited. Just one point: carriageway is one word!

Hi YelpBullhorn, thanks for your insight and feedback. I'll come clean, I just googled it, and you're absolutely right! Carriageway is one word... Everyday is a school day 🤣🤣👍

Hi guys, are you a full time crew or retained? The video is excellent. Editing, content, first person and overall quality was brilliant! Would love to watch tones of these videos. Finally, thank you for your service. Brilliant to see you guys in action.

Hi Michael Moran, we are an On Call (formerly called Retained) crew. Warwickshire Fire and Rescue is roughly 50/50 Whole-Time and On Call in terms of Fire Appliances and Stations. Thank you for the feedback too.

Isn’t this called an RTC?
@wellesbournefirestation44203 жыл бұрын
Hi Sebby 324, you're right. Formally this type of incident is communicated to first responders as an RTC (Road Traffic Collision), with extra details such as the number and types of vehicles involved (private motor vehicles, light goods vehicles, etc), and where they're situated (in the roadway, down an embankment and so on).
@YelpBullhorn3 жыл бұрын
Technically it's both.

@@YelpBullhorn Spot on in terms of taxonomy. All 'Road traffic collisions' would include car crashes, as well as all HGV Vs LGV and so on. So a car crash is an 'instance' of 'class' RTC. Gold star everyone ⭐⭐
