what was so great about Carrie's style in the original was that it was fresh and unpredictable.. her wardrobe wasn't always wacky either.. she had some really cute pieces.. yes, some of it was really over-the-top at the time but still chic and worked well for the character.. now it's like they are trying to out-Carrie Carrie and it's not really working.. it's looking heavy.. very cartoonish..

Personal speaking, i doesn't like her behaviour. She had a problem with Big leaving money to his ex wife while years earlier she was one of the reasons Big's marriage went down the drill. Carrie's so selfish and unlikable character and what bugs me is that everyone supports her and not telling her face to face that she was a marriage wrecker. She always wants to be everything about her.

I used to like Carrie’s sartorial flair (actually Pat Fields’) in SATC. Well that’s gone - along with any relatable Style of the main characters but I’m most turned off by SJP assuming that she looks Great no matter what crap she throws on herself. YUK. Fan watched it because it took them some place fun and real. They are upset that the revival is not being true to the original characters and they are voicing their disappointment.
