wellnesslenses.substack.com
****** Hey guys, so in one of the previous videos, we discussed narcissism alongside psychopathy and sociopathy, and today, we'll be looking at things from a similar but somewhat different perspective: narcissism versus borderline personality disorder. I understand that learning more about narcissism and all the terminologies, and sea of information can be overwhelming, so I want you to know that you're not alone, if all the new knowledge you've picked up recently is making you feel confused, scared, or even frustrated. It's a two-way thing because the knowledge can feel empowering and help you understand some of your toxic relationships better. For some people, the facts can feel discouraging because they know their problems now but are not sure how to approach them. Whether you belong to the first or second category here, the most important thing is that you're taking the first real step, which is gaining insight into the situation of things.
If you are interested in learning more about this topic, we have a whole playlist about dedicated to narcissism: • Narcissism

You can call me crazy or delusional if you want. But watching all these personality videos on this channel left me with one very saddening but true insight into the world. People these days cannot acknowledge others, empathetically speaking. The borderline is comfort being the most dangerous drug out there, a feeling of belonging that has the momentum to destroy people in all aspects of their general everyday lives. As a victim of mental health, only a few will understand what I'm saying, but the rest of the people on this planet will remain blind, ignorant, narcissistic, and in denial.

Could you walk through a common overlap between borderine phsycopathy combined with bpd-narcissistic behaviour, it is something that I personally have a lot of experience with and I have realized that sub genres and combinations of these disorders are almost more common than the pure diagnoses themselves.

I think everyone here is one thing or another. that's why we're all here watching these videos. We're all coo coo for co co puffs lol. Embrace it, they say a lot of great people were and are these things. So maybe we are special and we know it. it's hard to reach within ourselves and pull out the magic. If you have a creative side I say embrace and nurture it. Play your instruments, write new songs, post them on KZbin. Paint, draw, write, do whatever it is you do. Be great!!! Love it!!! The universe made you. It loves you. Normal is boring.

I have been studying with my sociology degree your series. I actually fit under this category tooth a hue😅 I ran into my very first narcissist that just blows me away 🙃☝️II came right up under the BPD but stop right there ☝️I walked away and now I’m educating myself and have had many years of therapy, but this one is a doozy. What is healthy or normal❓I always love that one. What is normal💁‍♀️❓⁉️
@derrickcox7761
@derrickcox7761 Жыл бұрын
True normalcy is being free of self-destructive influences. Social normalcy refers to a norm...which could mean mass psychopathy in a certain population. World war II Germany would be an example. This is why it's important for individuals to get themselves mentally grounded...by learning behaviors and habits that support good mental health. A good starting point is to learn the seven deadly sins and move on from there.

This is only my opinion Source: Trust me bro Lack of empathy in the wrong minds can lead to mass killings and inconsiderate choices that affect humans as a whole. For instance, Hitler's reasons for what he did had merit but the way he went about it was wrong and could have easily been avoided by making Germany a german only state and kicking all Jews / foreigners out. ( Im not saying i agree with Hitler's logic but there was an easier, faster, and more efficient way )
@deceidwithinfected4443

@@senselessjay8193 No that would´ve been stupid from Hitlers point of view as he thought the Jews were a plague a poison for the world and killing them would be a good thing also Hitler wanted to conquer the intire world and therefore kicking them out would only have delayed it. and wtf does that have to do with my question what I wanted to know was why a psychopath should agree to get treatment as for him there arent any real disatvantages

I thought I knew, but it turns out I didn't. I stopped reading about cognitive and social neuroscience for a while and fell for a dangerous personality type hook, line and sinker. I should have devoted more time to study. I don't regret having my kids, but the sex and her usefulness were really subpar for how dirty she done did me. 🤭 Oops! I guess that's a real narcissistic, sociopathic APD thing for me to say. 🤗 At least I strive to be honest and forthcoming about my issues to the best of my knowledge. I'm trying to keep from using my issues as a crutch or a shield. I simply flaunt my dark side as a warning. Those who decide to try to get to know me or be a part of my life should do so with some informed consent.

This is not exactly true at ALL. There are so many different layers to both diagnosis. There are borderlines who don’t actually act out any clingyness at all and can spend YEARS alone due to being so afraid to feel the awful feelings they get during relationships. And there are many narcissists who are aware enough not to go around acting superior all the time. Your detailing of these disorders leaves much to be desired
