Without making those passes and believing in the players when balls were dropped or a play was missed, those catches don’t happen if he doesn’t make the throw. One of the things that was so frustrating about this team last year was they seemingly gave up on the second effort plays, and moments where things hung in the balance. Last night they seemed to fight like hell to pull out the victory. That was the one thing that was missing, and we are finally seeing EFFORT in the face of struggle.
