It's me from Burnham-on-Sea! I am just blitzing your videos, and see you went to Italy, too!!! This is what it is all about! Another world away from "White Trash" Burnham-on-Sea! We regularly come to Wells as it is so relaxing to walk around with the dogs, go to market for Brown Cow Organics meat, Waitrose shopping, and of course go to see Angelina & family at Cafe Nostra! Unfortunately, her husband Luciano (the smiling chap in the photo) died from a heart attack! Frankie make's the home-made ice-cream which we (and dogs!) always have when in there, as well as the great food & drink at great prices! Just been to Weston, and next week it is Bristol for my regular eateries, places to go, etc!

@@pantani9886 oh hi…thanks for coming back and taking an interest in my channel…much appreciated 😊 I am trying to film a variety of places. We love Wells as well and thank you for the extra info about the cafe. It was our first time visiting and we will definitely go back the next time we visit 😊

@@NicolaExplores If you want some more awful places then try Taunton, Bridgwater, and Minehead, etc!

@@pantani9886 haha, I have never been to Taunton or Bridgwater… you’ll see I walked along Minehead promenade and railway station at the 1940s themed West Somerset Railway weekend and that was a brilliant event with Watchet being the highlight

It really is. I've visited regularly (Bristol born and bred)... and can imagine that it's a lovely place to live. Thanks for watching my video. I'm going to visit the Bishops Palace and the Cathedral this year (which I have never done before) so I am looking forward to that. Is there anything else you would recommend?

I absolutely love these medieval tours. I'm curious, however. The preserved street with these medieval stone houses on both sides and their gated entrances. Do people actually live in these medieval homes and if so, what type of people would live here? Would these be wealthier people or working class people? And if working class where would they work?. How wonderful it would be to be able to see inside one of these row stone houses.

@@caroljeanscholl7370 thanks for watching. The houses are occupied - the people who work in the Cathedral’s choir live in them, which was also their original purpose. We were lucky enough to look inside one a few years ago, but I don’t think it’s usually possible to take a look inside.

It’s actually England’s Second Smallest City. The City of London is the Smallest.
