@lawrencefree29084 жыл бұрын
Once you master a song, it becomes subconscious, you don't think about it. Likewise layering it together. The sad part is it then becomes automatic. You see a guitarist doing something great and they aren't even there. You move onto the next one, repeat. Try something completely different to have a bit of fun. One does have to put in the hundreds or thousands of hours to get there. You do well to study a curriculum to learn the instrument well, otherwise you stay pretty much the same.

My dad’s a musician and song writer. When I was seventeen my folks asked me what I wanted to do with myself and I said “music obviously”. They warmed me that music was quite hard and you had to have a certain personality type to get it done. So you might want to find yourself a back up they said. I’m now 32 with two degrees behind me and close to £100,000 student debt and I work as a therapist on the stroke wards - and I love it! But this feels like what might have happened if I said “na I don’t care if it’s hard, let’s have it!” Never too late though.

Not only taking any and all women home (except maybe the ONE music nerd that is never there), but also leaving a far better impression behind. Not to mention: soloing is not that impressive. Playing WITH many people (band) sharing ideas is way more difficult and rewarding. But sure, choose tapping over a real drummer ... lol, shows your introvert nature even more.

@@hart.6230 I think once you reach a certain stage there really is no such thing as best in terms of just shredding. Some are good at stuff that other guitarist are not. I play fingerstyle, I usually buy eddies songs (just recently I started to try and arrange real stuff ) if I practice let's say his hardest arrangement and it took me 4 months with an hour or 2 a day and I can fluently play it, that doesn't mean I'm on the same level as eddie. You can't really tell who's better some like this form of music better others like another. Try not to esteem yourself too high to the point where you say I can probably play like this guy in 2 years, because who knows it could take you 5 years because andrew is more talented with his ear or he has a faster reaction then you, humble yourself.
