I have 5 month old male golden doodle while my cousin adopted his sister. Both are very loving and smart, however his sister loves to cuddle and loves to be groomed while my male dog only cuddles for 5 mins and leaves and hates grooming and bath time. He’s also very hyper compared to his sister but he’s such a sweet boy ❤❤❤

My wife and I have raised and kept Australian Shepherds for the last 30 years. We rescued a 3 month old Goldendoodle (female) about 5 months ago. She is such a wonderful dog, so affectionate and easy to train. What’s really amazing is she doesn’t shed at all; compared to the Aussies it’s such a relief.

I Love goldendoodles but seniors should not get a standard goldendoodle unless you are ready to be pulled around. It take doodles at least 2 hrs to settle down. But they are very loving dogs.

very normal....we started our female on puzzle toys around that age. Snuffle balls to hide treats in etc. The more you can mentally engage your doodle as a puppy, the calmer they will be. Also, crate training is a must.

2:02 this is absolutely true for goldendoodles, you described it perfectly. Be warned, males are kinda nuts a lot of the time.

Don't forget that an un-neutered male will be eventually attacked at dog parks by the neutered males- a fact that should be taken into consideration in deciding on the sex if you intend to breed them.
