ok but how funny is that in those weeks the fate seems didn't want them to happen, in the audition Zayn disappeared because he didn't want to dance, at the "Judge house" louis's injuries. wtf?? rewatching this after 14 years it's like if the destiny is giving signals. ahaha ps: all the directioner and young girls in general knows Torn just thanks to them and this cover. lmao.

Cher Lloyd not Cheryl, she was in female category on X Factor 2010, Cher finished 4th, it was between One Direction & Cher to get the last spot in finals. Cher had a few hits in UK & USA after show.

Yes, Louis's mother (RIP) would take her children on auditions. James Corden once said he know Johannah (Louis's mother) because she was a chaperone on one of his TV shows. Louis's twin sisters Phoebe and Daisy stared on the UK, TV Series, Fat Friends, alongside James Corden. Louis would go along with his mother and sister's on set. That's where Louis met James Cordon. They would play football together on set when they were not filming. Louis first auditioned for the X-Factor show in 2008, when he was 16 years old. He was rejected in the first round. A year later 2009, at the of 17 yrs, he tried out and made it into the audition process but nowhere near the judges. So, when Louis audition for the X-Factor in 2010, at the age on 18 he was already known by the X-Factor crew. Watch Louis's full 2010 audition. When Louis walks on the stage Simon says his name. Simon said, "Louie." Then Simon leaned back in his chair and looked at fellow judge Louis Walsh and said,"Lulu" (which was his nickname for Louis Walsh) then he gestured with his head towards Louie on stage. It seemed like Simon already knew Louis. Just look 19:44 at the way Louis looks at Simon while hugging him, and look at Liam's face.. Liam said when he first auditioned in 2008 Simon told Liam to come back in two years and he would do something for him. I believe Simon always planned on forming a boyband that he would sign to his Label. He already had Liam in mind and also Louis. I believe Louis was planted to be Simon's eyes and ears in the band. So Simon would know everything from the inside out. Louis had one of the worst auditions on the show. And he was also lip sinking during the performance at the judge's house, just watch 9:38. Louis was also older then the rest of the boys. Louis's family was known in the entertainment industry. So when Simon had auditions he was looking for three additional band members. And he found them in Harry, Zayn, and Niall. What people have been saying about Louis's solo performances are true. His band does the majority of the singing. When Louis attempts to sing he crams the mic so far into his mouth you can't even understand what he's attempting to sing. He also stands on the stage with a red cup filled with alcohol in one hand and the mic in the other, holding it out for. the children in the audience to scream the lyrics to the songs he's supposedly wrote but yet can't remember the lyrics too. He plays festivals so it looks like there's a large crowd supporting him. The UK radio stations refuse to play his music. He uses the LGBTQ community and he manipulates the Larry fan base. People are starting to wake up and see him for what he really is.

To the hard-core 1D fans (I am a fan as well).. I have watched all of the X Factor and Xtra Factor episodes for this season. Xtra Factor plays a different version of Torn, where Zayn does a lot more echos. Is that the original version, and it got changed for XFactor? I have never heard it commented on.

They cut down the songs, like with the auditions where we only see a few verses of the songs they sang. Torn was sang fully and they’ve cut down to the first verse, first chorus and last chorus. That’s why they have a few extra seconds that show different parts (the zayn echoing for ex)

Definitely a Louis hater made the 10 sec comment. Louis is a big fan of his band and he does give them a lot of time to shine but we have ample recordings of Louis giving beautiful (and difficult) live vocals.

Yes! Just listen to his live album. All songs recorded live at different shows, you couldn’t get any audio for this if Louis didn’t sing. The main issue with hearing Louis at his shows is that the audience screams every single word 😂

I watch practically all of Louis shows through streaming and have also listened to his live album.... there are a lot of crowd interactions and traditions, but he definitely sings a great deal. sounds like a hater

Also hate to break your heart guys but this is for tv, this is not how boy bands are put together. Most of 1D had already auditioned in 2008 and 2009. Louis and Harry were frontmen of bands already, Zayn sang in choir, Niall had participated in competitions and Liam had travelled throughout the UK performing. They were all working musicians with social media presence who were head hunted, recruited and focus group tested. Boy bands are put together by panels of industry professionals using market research. They are then sent to a boot camp where they are rigorously trained. This narrative of "Simon's choice" serves tv rating and Simon's ego.

@@angelawilliams1404 Former contestants including Katie Waissel and Rebecca Ferguson have spoken out about Simon but you can start by listening to music executive and former Syco Creative Director Tim Byrnes on episode 6 of the "Boy Band Top 10s" Podcast discussing how he helped put One Direction together. Tim was the one who actually mentored Simon's acts on the X-factor. Simon has said repeatedly that he doesn't even know how a record is made.
