Just fyi - Taylor was the sole writer of this song. The song went on to win a CMA and a Grammy. As far as the movie studios, they're pissed that she went around them and that she complied with the strike. Her concert film ended up pushing the release dates of 3 movies - big movies. Makes me curious about what's going to happen if/when she releases her feature film. Also - yes, you did react to this song. It was Taylor live at the Bluebird Cafe. ;)

Wonderful song! She said when she wrote it, in her mind she could hear Little Big Town” singing it. She gave them the song and of course it blew up, they won all kinds of awards etc.

her movie is sag approved actually I was at the Tiff Festival and they said they are very happy with what Swift doing because she did not include studios just her and this goes right with the strike and will help theaters since they taking 45%

I love this song! I am glad she recorded it. I first saw the video of her singing this at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and there was a girl in the audience who was so cute, mouth open in surprise cause Taylor was a surprise guest.

I think country will always be a part of her, but if she would’ve only stuck to country, I don’t think she would be as big as she is now and I don’t think she would still be going. I think she needed to branch out in order to keep making music that she wanted to make and to gain this huge fan base behind her

I'm finding it hard to believe that you have not heard that Taylor is releasing her concert movie "The Eras Tour" to movie theaters on October 13th. I would have bet that native tribes deep in the rainforest have heard that news by now. (And you'll enjoy the story of how her dad spearheaded the unorthodox release and totally stirred up the movie industry.)
