Loved them on BGT. Also watched a documentary about them as they auditioned to be part of a small group for a special performance. Beautiful voices. Nice to see someone react to them ❤️

Thank you for your reaction. My mother is Welsh. Calon Lan is one of my favorite Welsh songs. All the areas if Wales have now got Only Boys Aloud choirs, from what I can gather. My daughter and grandchildren still lives on the England/Wales border and my brothers still live in Wales.

This is a beautiful song. If you can find the translation you can see. Male voice choirs come from the working class. I am from the village where Calon Lan was written. We have a memorial park named Calon Lan

Love their name "only boys aloud" and loved their voices. my 13 year old grandson and his buddies in choir were told to mouth the words when they reached certain parts in songs. we all had a good laugh; but also thought it rather sad. they should have watched this instead.

I think they came in second position. But they were definitely a thing for a hot minute. Great stuff when a Welsh language hymn brings an audience to their feet.
