As always, great work! Always nice to see that there are also thematization companies that are not afraid to reveal their working method. I myself am a freelance sculptor and mold maker in the Netherlands and I do a lot of work for theme parks such as Disneyland paris, Europapark etc. Hopefully I can visit your workshop in the future. About the stickyfoil technique, I did that first but nowadays there are quite a few suppliers who sell polyesterresin especially for polystyrene foam. Works very well and can save a lot of time. You should try it! I also often have to deal with cnc robots. Sometimes a shame, sometimes useful. Great that you do not invest in it and do it the old-fashioned way! Nothing more than praise! Keep up the goodwork!

This is the reason I went to art school.... its cool to know there are actual companies out there that do this sort of thing. If you dont mind me asking what type of resin do you all use that doesnt heat up and melt the styrofoam underneath. I understand the aluminum foil wrap controls most of the temperature, but most resins still heat up considerably.

Amazing and great to watch. I've just done a sculpture trail commission and whilst decorating the sculpture I thought of many things I could create using this technique. Can I just ask about the waste polystyrene and is there any way of recycling it or what you do with it? Thanks again
Wonderful work ! Thank you !! I have been dying to try my hand at this type of sculpting - where would someone find the proper foam large enough ? Any particular type of shop ? I imagine finding something local would be best decades of shipping cost

You can buy one (hotwirefoamfactory) or just make one yourself (much cheaper), plenty of videos online to do so.

I want to put a Gargoyle on my house, I found a good size one made of some kind of resin. It's only under 200usd so I might go ahead a buy it. I am going to be doing 2D images on my walls inside my new house. We are still building the foundation to the outer walls. I am putting concrete outside and will have 2 turrets on the front of the house. It will also have stained glass in the walls.
