With the new FAQ 2022, I guess the bonus dice from Wild Charge in levies will be maxed at 4? You can’t have more bonus dice than base dice?

There wouldn't really be a change due to the 2022 FAQ. The bonus dice cap applied from the "original" FAQs. The figure count limitation is new but I don't think would come up with Levies in this situation.

I know it is one of the older pre FAQ reviews but Monty talked about shooting in the opponents turn. Is that possible now with the FAQ?

Not with the Welsh board. Javelins used to work slightly differently prior to the FAQ.

I have 1st edition I think. Bought mine around five years ago. Is it worth getting 2nd edition? Also I have welsh! Do I need new figures with 2nd edition?

I think it is worth getting 2nd edition! I was surprised by how much better it is and you have a lot more options from a warband building perspective. Your figures will absolutely still work but you may find you want to invest in an additional Levy unit or two!

I’m still pretty new to saga and am having trouble understanding equipment. To me it looks like the welsh can only take Javelins on most units and nothing else. Are they able to just take hand weapons if they’re modeled that way and not have the javelin special rules?

Hi Cory! You have read it correctly, the Welsh warlord, hearthguard and warriors must be equipped with javelins. Compare that to entries such as the Normans where it says "may be equipped." Model-wise, you can sneak in a fair number of non-javelin guys for variety and no one will take issue.

Hi! Thanks for the video. Can I activate a unit of javelinmen to shoot after I've activated them to move and shoot for free?

Sure! Only the free shooting activation is without a fatigue though. So if you shot once for free previously and pay a dice (or we obey, whatever) to shoot again, you take a fatigue at the end of the activation.

Looks like my old Welsh build of 8-12 mounted warriors, and the rest just foot wariors should still be good.

Also, taunt may work with swamps vs cavalry. 2 fatigue for them going in, and a third for the fight. Then their next move they have less mobility due to being in terain, dependant in who loses and your pissition. If they already have one fatigue on them you could even use one, and they would still be at 3 due to the fight.

Oh yeah! I've seen quite a few swamps made recently. I even picked up some water effect stuff to build my own!

Wisco Tabletop I have still not had a chance to play Saga 2.0 (even though I pre-ordered it), as I have been Chain of Cimmanding it up. However I think I should likewise make a swamp to Saga rules, as really it would be good for most games I play.

Definitely! Swamps are definitely underrepresented on the game table!
