I really like those mini incubators and super excited for you all. We had ducks and will get them again when we move.

Thank you! Yeah they’ve been great for no more than they cost! 👍🏻 We’re very excited!

What incubators are you using? Mine died & not sure which way to go for replacement.

Nurture 360. The link is in the description! Duck eggs just barely fit but it works! It’s great for chicken and quail eggs though or anything in that size!

Awesome! Hopefully they’ll all hatch out for you! We’re currently looking for ducks and hopefully will be able to find some once we move. Good luck! Looked like 2 & 4 and possibly 11 and 12 are a no go. 11 & 12 were hard to tell.

Simply Jan Homestead That is what we think as well. We’ll check again on day 7! Ten out of 14 eggs would be great!

New to your channel. I love my 360 and I put command hooks, 1 on each side but put them upside down and use them as little handles makes it so much easier to take the top on and off. Not sure if you already do this or not but put a thermometer/hydrometer in there occasionally because my hatch rates were going down and realized my temps were off almost 2 degrees 😩.. Can’t wait to watch more videos and I love my chickens and just recently hatched out ducks which they are messy and stinky but so cute.

tasha mandell Great information. Thank you. I haven’t noticed a need yet to an extra gauge in it yet. We also intend to do a review of this incubator after we hatch out. 2 degrees is a lot though so hopefully ours are good. 👍🏻 Appreciate you liking and subbing. Check out our video from yesterday for our giveaway announcement!

What are you looking for when you candle the eggs?🐤🐥🐣👀
@DossFarm4 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth Rojas Well on day three there isn’t much unfortunately. We just got excited and wanted to look. However I’ve read it is important to candle them because if one were bad and burst under pressure of incubator the bacteria could infect other eggs. So if we find a bad one we remove it. Day 7 we’ll see separated dark and light spots. As well as veins like spider webs. 👍🏻
