This is my favourite castle in Wales. The area is outstandingly beautiful, as is most of Wales. It is a magical place, especially as the sun is setting. I actually experience a strong hiraeth for Castell Y Bere (pronounced Bereh). Definitely look into Hugh Evans' work on the Star maps of Gwynedd and the importance of Cader Idris as an observatory. It's fascinating!

Great program.Hugh Evans's work on the Star maps of Gwynedd may interest you. He publishes books and has a u tube channel. Hugh is an astrophysicist who makes programs about the meanings of the ancient landscape.
