We recently lost our Welsh Terrier at 14 years, and are thinking of adopting a wire hair fox terrier. Thank you for sharing.

Nice video. We have had two of each. The Wires when we lived in NY and they has many chances to play in the snow. The two Welsh Terrier we got when we moved to Texas so they don't get as many chances but sometimes it will snow and they enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the video as three of our dogs have passed and just the last Welsh is with us.

When you wire fox was a puppy, what were his coat colors? I’m wandering how much it changes. Because I am looking to find puppies but I see their heads are all black, and not brown. So I don’t know if it is that it changes as they grow.

Yes. Puppies have very fluffy black hair on their heads which will gradually change to brown. I think they are the best dogs in the world but they aren't for everybody. Research the breed. They are spicy and full of life, high prey drive, can't be off leash (unless they grow up off leash in an open area and are familiar with the experience), are mischievous. But will make you laugh every day! Personality plus! But make SURE you understand the breed if you want one.
