26:59 Right there. The big circle is the royal palace “Amalienborg” where the queen and the rest of the royal family lives. You came across it so many times but you didn’t realise that it was there the whole time haha.

It is a good video - plenty of tingles. :) I moved to Denmark (Aarhus), from the Faroe Islands, in 2009. It a very nice city and country. I understood Danish fully when I moved here, because we learn it in school in the Faroe Islands, but the language is very difficult to perfect in its spoken form. I still have a minor accent after 12 years here. :P
@WelshASMR824 жыл бұрын
Really? That's crazy. The spoken form seems so unpredictable to me! Thanks for your comment!

@bxrningheart the same with me and my language. Like I am fully croatian and i better pronounce english words than croatian💀 even danish is easier for me than croatian.

Oh hey, my family hails from Denmark (well, like 4 generations ago lol)! Super cool to learn about this interesting country, I’d love to visit there sometime. Great video, good to see you posting again. Hope you had a good break and a happy new year, and hopefully moving house was good.

Ah yeah, Nielsen, of course! Funny how Americans have such interesting lineage which wasn't that long ago. Glad to be all moved in and organised again. New video coming in the next day or so (tonight if I'm organised!) So there'll be plenty of videos again after my little holiday. Hope you're doing well!

As a Dane, can I give a quick guide to our way of pronounciation. Aa/Å is oh. Ae/Æ is a combination of ah and eh at the same time it's easy to say, just try with egg, then just say egg with out the g's and you are saying Æ. Ø is like when you think of what you need to say next in a sentence and add a filler sound, "eh", that's pretty much what it sounds like. Danes pronounce S like in the english language, R is like a more aggressive and harsh sounding R, like when you have a dry throught (It's so difficult to exsplain R when it's pronounced so differently in english). If D is in the end of a places name would it not be said, like the h in honest not appering when saying it. If a word has Hv in the start will the h not appear in the pronounciation. Og is pronounced ou, and if g is in the middle of a word and not the end or start will it usually be pronounced as a j.

I've actually studied some Danish since I released this video, as I realised I did so badly 😆 Thanks for the amazing message of help! Check out my latest video, released tonight, to see if my Danish is any better! 👍☺️

@@WelshASMR82 It's defently better. You have really improved. Though you still have that Swedish accent when speaking danish. But it's more our danes fault, for creating a language so hard to understand and speak. And for taking over the whole Scandinavian and creating a language which would turn in to three.

Thank you so much for the video. The Danish sounds good, though with a few basic errors. the mistakes are with the Danish letters å and æ, but those mistakes make all those who are not Danes. Keep up the good work. great video
