Idea for the meat. Instead of using nether rack you could use a glazed terra-cotta one of the red ones and instead of wood you can have iron bars or chains hanging from the ceiling like it’s a metal hook and then on the bottom on the floor you could have Redstone like it’s dripping blood

It’s quite a lovely kitchen. I love the hanging meat idea. Only thing I would change about the whole kitchen would be to maybe remove some water from one of the cauldrons with a glass bottle, so the sinks aren’t both full.

Hey Wels! If you put 3 slabs under the cauldrons, and waterlog them, you can have an infinite water source for buckets. If you want smaller you can just put one and then it is infinite for bottles.

You should use armor stand mode to liven up kitchen. Especially drying meat

With the armor stand book (datapack) you can set invisible armor stands on fire. Really helpful to build unique fireplaces. May cleo could help you

I really enjoyed watching you detail out the kitchen. I like that you keep it very vanilla and don't go overboard using a bunch of armor stand tricks. It is interesting to see someone using the standard blocks to represent other objects creatively.

the ceiling beams in the kitchen are placed asymmetrically, facing the smokers, the right ceiling beam has 3 blocks between it and the right wall, the left ceiling beam only has 2 blocks between it and the left wall

A few suggestions: - Use chains to hang the meat. - Use unlit campfires as racks to display foods (raw meats or chests, potato, kelp) and to replace some chests (for me, there are too many chests and barrels). - Try crafters in place of the crafting tables.

This castle basement is just way too clean for a medieval castle basement. I thought Grian’s wall texturing ideas he tried to give you when he was helping you with a floor plan were really good and would have made things look dank like you’d expect in a dungeon.

Timelapses work best for large builds imo, but I don't really care about them too much, or at least not when it's just someone 3D-printing their build into the landscape with some music. To me it's far more interesting when the person also talks about their creative process or so during the timelapse, or in case of this video just does some detail work and talks us through the process.

Remove the trapdoors and blocks below “drying meat” and replace blocks with iron bars as drains, even dying meat leaks. If you really wanted to get into it go 2 blocks lower, at the lowest add soul sand, water(create sound of meat draining) then iron bars

There was also a phase were minecraft youtube mainly consisted of live building and I sometimes do miss that, this was a nice throwback! Btw I think you should hire Cleo to armour stand some wooden tools to hang from your shelves (or do it yourself if you feel like it)

I don’t know if you got the mail from Cleo yet talking about Armour stands. But she can help make the faucets for the sinks. A reference you could go look at is Beefs house and go to his bathroom and go look at his bathtub ( I believe it is his house) it looked realistic and super cool, I don’t know if he did it him self or if Cleo helped. If they overhaul the paintings I hope they add a way to have it be locked to a specific one maybe a painter block or tool to adjust it so you don't have to spam place and break to RNG into the one you want but could just set it Painting 7 then place it for example. What I want is for vertical slabs and also letting mismatched slabs and stuff share the empty space so you could have something 1 block in side with different interiors and exteriors. Maybe even more so half-slabs so you can place 8 in one block space lol but that would never happen probably.

It's a client-side mod called Mouse Tweaks. It allows you to hold shift and just drag your cursor across everything you want to move.
