WELSTRA DECKPROFILE // guide and explained choises

Hi it's me Wolfren! and today i want to share with you my take on Fated one of guiding start, Welstra Blitz Arms!
While i love playing Zorga and i play that deck almost every time, i do also enjoy other decks such as Welstra, as i rly love resource management based decks. Here you can find a list that works rly well even without the missing RRR. The video comes with a comentary on how i play the deck in a way that works for me, and i hope it also can be of help to you :3 Any questions you may have, pls let me know on comments section UwU

Some notes i forgot to talk about in the video:
- MULLIGAN:
If you went SECOND, mull for the G2 Cycle. Most powerful hands include using 2 of her (turns 1 and 3). You can keep either 1 doggo/Lubetzal, and find for the other for strazer. Already having 1 satelite is nice, so you can keep it if you have the cards above. Same thing for freiheit.
if you went FIRST, you need to hard mull for lubetzal. if you wiff lubetzal, do NOT operate doggo with uber, as it is not worth. G2 Cycle can help mitigating the lack of lubetzal because it lets you employ the 3 energies on a draw and it is not as bad, but definetely is not as strong as having Lubetzal so you can put the generic back for mulligan aswell.
If you did not hit lubetzal, you can still fix the game by fetching for it with uber, alongside with the g3 product you do not have in hand yet (either satelite or max. Since you run 6, you should always see 1 of them, so you can use Uber to find Lubetzal and the missing g3 product). If you hit Lubetzal already, just try to make the double satelite play.

I love wesltra but unfortunately shield issue and the sattelite product isn't an exact upgrade to maximum product...sometimes we need the maximum...and thanks for that we need the G2 xd which takes so much space imo Otherwise with a few more card support it'll be really really good!! I dont have the cycler and EB for draw cards xd

This is definetely a side grade. They tend to do this a lot, where the deck improves but not by much, just a a little jeje there is the rrr missing tho, lets see what it does!

could you do a deck profile of welstra but using more "support" from dv-bt01? his core support is qq expensive so is there a budget friendly ver. js by using the cards that bt01 has?

Yeah, i think i might do a short video with a list for every fated one. For welstra, if we include the new rrr, the deck becomes a bit diferent as the card pairs well with berjina to plus. This list is good going second and the other is better going 1st. I might work on that next week

I understand the deck draws alot but you run so many non shield cards, will you not find most of your hand is fake and not be able to guard?

I think the shield will be "fake" either way. What is most important is having the pgs in time. The g2 cycler can cover for some of the missing shield aswell. Otherwise, welstra never was the most tanky, but it has improved defense wise. You can survive more now. Your point is specially true if you compare this deck with no g3 dragon (the one that gains 15k if you have a g4) with any g4 deck. Those g4 decks will be super tanky and will definetely defend themselves better, but this deck can now survive to kill next turn where it wasn t able to do so before
