For the twenty-fifth volume of buses in Metro Vancouver, there are four locations included.
Firstly, we see Vancouver and Burnaby based diesel buses alongside trolley buses, as well as some highway coaches and tour buses, and a couple of heritage trolley buses in Gastown and the nearby Waterfront Station on Cordova Street in Downtown Vancouver.
Next we visit Bridgeport Station in northern Richmond. The distinctive howling of Detroit Diesel Series 50 engines is now but a memory as the handful of Orion Vs that remain have Cummins engines, along with the double deckers and several generations of NovaBus LFS. The bike-buses provide a nice splash of variety.
After this comes Lougheed Town Centre, with lots of variety in the form of both NovaBus LFS diesels and hybrids based out of Hamilton and Burnaby depots, as well as CNG-fueled New Flyer LFRs and Xcelsiors based out of both Hamilton and Port Coquitlam; alongside Richmond-based Alexander Dennis Enviro 500s on the 555 route; and several Chilliwack-based NovaBus LFS buses on the recently extended BC Transit route 66, Fraser Valley Express.
Lastly, we stop by Broadway and Alma in Vancouver, a location sure to change over the coming years as the Millennium Line SkyTrain is being extended to here and eventually onwards to UBC. Here, we see both LFR and Xcelsior artics on the 99 B-Line, along with the dieselized route 9, trolleybus routes 7 and 14, and the seasonal community bus route to Spanish Banks.
