Buses in Portland, OR (Volume One)

The very first volume of Buses in Portland, Oregon! I took a trip to this beautiful city of bridges (roses officially!) for a weekend.
This video shows buses in four locations. First at various points on PSU Campus (Portland State University). Second is Pioneer Square. Third is PDX International Airport; and finally at Parkrose-Sumner Transit Center.
In addition to TriMet buses, a C-TRAN bus is seen at Parkrose-Sumner from Vancouver, WA; and also the TriMet MAX and the Portland Streetcar show up too.

Indeed, that turned out well how I just managed to visit Portland at this time and get to record that for posterity, along with the buses in service at the time.

sounds like a combination of a S50 and a ISC or a ISL on the 2201-2839

Buses 2001-2022 use the S50. Buses 2201-2318 and 2501-2560 use the ISC. Buses 2601-2655, 2701-2725 and 2801-2839 use the ISL. Buses 2901-2940 (and the new Gillig Advantage BRTs) use the ISL9.

Not really, some do. Most have ISC and a handful have Detroit Diesel S50.

1:05 That's a 40 foot Flxible Metro. They have all been scrapped, except for the 30 foot Fxible Metro buses.

Crazy to think the only Trimet buses shown here that are still in service today are the 2900s and the 3000s

2900s New Flyer D40LFRs are gone now, leaving Trimet 99% Gillig. The Bombardier Type 1s are being retired, with one going to the Oregon Railway Museum (Reported to be one of the cars seen here, 103)

At 3:48, what engines and Transmissions do those El Dorado National Buses Have? In my City, we have El Dorado National XHF Buses that have those Engines.

Cummins CNG

The older ones with the square headlights are Cummins B Gas Plus units and then the ones with the circle headlights are Cummins ISL-G powered

That C-Tran bus 2225 is a 2003 Gillig Phantom on route 65 from Fisher's Landing Transit Center in East Vancouver.

almost all of the ones u got have something wrong with the lights on top. most in pdx donnt do that.

I know this is a 9 year old comment but if you are talking about the reader board on top of the bus flashing, its because the camera's frame rate doesn't match the refresh rate of the reader board.
