Hay juguetes de esos autobuses aqui en Chicago????
@Welwyn22 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't think so. Chicago buses don't have the same prominence as London's red buses or New York City's yellow cabs.

I like the older bues from 60's to 2005 in usa and Canada! Uk 60's to 2oo5. New ones, too small steering wheels. A dome look to them. They sound to tinny! No beef to them! Too restricted!! Etc.

Why aren't Mercedes Benz buses in the USA ? Perhaps some lobby don't allow to them for free competitiveness ?
@Welwyn226 жыл бұрын
Most likely there aren't any facilities for building Mercedes Benz buses anywhere in the USA. USA agencies have to comply with 'Buy America' regulations for funding their new vehicles. Gillig, New Flyer, Eldorado, NovaBus and Alexander Dennis all have facilities in the USA for building vehicles in the US. As such, buying Mercedes Benz buses would be cost-prohibitive unless Mercedes started offering their products, built inside the US.

Welwyn22 Waaaaw such a lot of restrictions for an undoubtful leader as Mercedes ! My inquiry isn't based only in favoritisms for any vehicle's constructor neither for their coachbuilders ( yeah is quite an evidence You do have superb trim coachworkers in the giant USA ! ) . My inquiry comes from the facts rather than to ingenuity , i' d say not merely in Germany where Mercedes are naturally belonging : but the whole South American's countries where the surfaces are rough , it's proven 80% of the urban bus companies preferred Mercedes Benz vehicles cause their engine+transmissions have an average durabiility of 20 years . Yet being these markets for free concurrents ( Scania bus, Volvo bus , Iveco-Fiat bus , Volkswagen bus , Toyota buses ) the 80% of the buses trafic share is Mercedes Benz ( owners already got unending troubles with the other brands , lack of spare parts etc ) so no wonder whose the obvious choice . Overall said, many thanks for Your whole answer because this topic is passionate to the readers who are enthusiasts for the buses of all lands ( beyond every singular Brand 's favoritism ) .
